Hi everyone, I’m Chicken Zeus. I’ve been reading NoFap posts for a bit now. I’ve read about struggles, successes, advice, tantrums, despair, and hope. It’s that last point I want to emphasize because it’s what I usually lack when I try to quit.

I’m writing this with no small amount of trepidation. I haven’t ever done anything like this. I haven’t even kept up a consistent journal before. There is no reason why I should feel like I can do this. Even with all the success stories I somehow believe I will be an exception to the rule.

That’s because I have a habit of expressing pessimistic attitudes. I’ve had very negative opinions of myself in the past. I’m an immensely private person by nature. I don’t like talking about my weaknesses or about myself in general. But I understand now just how selfish that is. This whole site is built around hope. The hope one of us brings to those who are struggling. If one of us can do it then all of us can. I need to share my story mistakes and all because, one day, when I’m free, I would have left a bit of that hope behind.

I’ve never seen myself as a pornographer and I’m not going to start now. This about becoming who I know I am. I am disciplined, I am honorable, I am respectful of women, I am humble, I am gracious with myself and with others, I love myself and I love others just as much, I am not a bad person, son, brother, friend, future husband, and future father.

It might take a while to fully to be all that I am, but I’ve got hope for myself. Cause I’ve seen what he looks like and I don’t want to be anyone else. I’m here to finally stand by who I know I am.

I can’t wait to get to know you all and I’m looking forward to helping each other out.

    Regards
