I've only MO'd once in 2018, I masturbated about a week ago after a 40 day streak. The entire time I've been clean I've still had intense fantasies, mostly in the morning or evening, that can go on for a long time. As a person with a very addictive personality I have a natural reward deficiency, and these fantasies are basically automatic. They pull me in. My brain is just trying to balance out the lack of stimulation that is laying in bed waiting for sleep.
Anybody else deal with this for a prolonged period of time? How long before it calmed down?

I AM dealing with the same problem but I've found out meditation can really help.Try meditation early in the morning for at least 20 minutes. It helps you to gain more mind control and realize how to control you thoughts.
    Good luck.

Avoid social media, it mostly booms you with porn and fantasies, i would recommend meditation and healthy lifestyle, and a good morning routine without phone :)

I try to perceive the thoughts before they dominate me, or try to think of something else, or something about NoFap. Obviously thinking about NoFap kills any urge.

DXX, this advice is only for you I wouldn't get the trouble to give advice if you were not my AP. Download this book and read http://www.filedropper.com/rebootingasthebestremedyseasons1-20 , it's called Rebooting as the Best Remedy.

You need more 'brainwash'. The concept is in the book. Next time talk to me before relapse. But nice to see you still trying :)
