I've just been having a rough day with my urges! I slowly started to watch porn today! Ugh it sucks cuz the whole time I was thinking don't do it don't do it! Then finally I had the strength to log off my twitter and come on here! But still the urge is there! I'm trying and I'm not gonna count that as a relapse because it was only brief but I wish that there was just some way I could stop these damn urges! Medicine maybe? Idk...

i think this happens to all of us, what i do is, i start listening to that voice in your head that tells you to not do it. the more you listen to that voice and act on it, the more it will start to become habitual and easier for you to quit. just let yourself become controlled by that voice and tell yourself you must obey or there will be heavy consequences. hope this helps. I think the best way to get over something or better yourself is by taking a different approach at looking at the situation

by the way many people call that voice the sub-conscience, i like to think of it as my higher self trying to guide me through daily situations

if that doesnt work you can always try to just keep yourself busy on other things. distract yourself for instance but becareful not to just 'trade' your dopamine source for another. like tv or food or videogames otherwise your progress, in my opinion, will slow down because your not giving the dopamine receptors in your brain a chance to turn off and withdraw and then finally regrow

    cheers

Sorry to hear that I to today was on my ig and came upon some pics of attractive woman and was right there and there automatically captive by it.. I believe we have the same issue where we have a bit of in impulsiveness with technology and the social media and also also we place our self in that situation and it's hard to not stop when your in the moment and even after you stop it's still there but I think it's a matter of really forcing our body and mind to not come up on a citation where we are conscious we are going to look at it..
