    The Greater Pleasure Method

    Example story:

There is a criminal who is spending lifetime in jail for killing someone.

They only give him bread with ham, an apple to eat and a glass of water to drink, in jail. Everyday.

One day a policeman tells him something about getting new food to eat:

    He offers him 2 options:

    - He waits 5 days and he will get 3 mozzarella cheese croquettes

    or

    - He waits 3 months and he will get chicken, snacks, pasta, lasagna, pizza and hamburgers.

Will he wait 5 days and eat the mozzarella cheese croquettes or he will wait 3 months and eat all of those things he hasn't eaten in 25 years ( he spent 25 years in jail till now )?

Of course, he decides to wait 3 months to eat all of that food.

Now, take in for example that his brain wants those 3 mozzarella cheese croquettes in 5 days and he will try to tell the criminal to eat those croquettes due to food urges, will the criminal decide to eat the croquettes or he will wait 3 months for something way better? He obviously won't listen to the food urges and he will gladly wait 3 months for better food.

    -------------------------------------------

Now, correlate all of this to a porn addict:

    - He waits 5 days and he can masturbate to porn and orgasm ( It won't be max pleasure and there are high potential of being a total fail of an orgasm ).

    or

    - He waits 3 months and he can experience a much greater orgasmic pleasure.

Should he wait 5 days and masturbate to porn and orgasm or he should wait 3 months and get an orgasm he hasn't had in 10 years ( he spent 10 years of masturbating to porn till now )?

Of course, he should be waiting 3 months obviously. And that's what most of you porn addicts don't do! Greater pleasure is obviously better than pleasure!

Now, take in for example that his brain wants that orgasm after 5 days and he will try to tell the addict to masturbate and orgasm due to sexual urges, should the addict decide to masturbate or he should wait 3 months for a better orgasmic pleasure? He obviously shouldn't listen to the sexual urges and he should of course wait 3 months for greater pleasure.

After 3 months you can either choose to experience a big orgasm or you would've likely forgot about porn altogether and not masturbate at all.

If you choose to masturbate, your 3 months progress won't be gone.

Now, if you relapsed after 3 months, repeat a new 3 months abstinence until eventually porn is out of your mind!

    :)

    It will work 100%!

    Just remember:

    - Option 1: 3 mozzarella cheese croquettes after 5 days = orgasm after 5 days ( therefore not big with the potential of being a failure ).

    - Option 2: chicken, snacks, pasta, lasagna, pizza and hamburgers after 3 months = orgasm after 3 months ( big orgasm and therefore greater pleasure ).

What would you choose? Of course, option 2.

  7. Dude a porn addict didn't even wait 5 seconds than 5 days. Porn is so tempting. If someone tell me," you will die if you fap again" then also i will fap when urge comes. That's because we are animals and we act like that in certain moments of pleasure.

What separates us from other animals?

Free will/Self awareness/Self control - don't submit to your base instincts and you will be a man and not a beast.

Wait, so three months, wouldn’t the prisoner just die and the officer will eat the junk food?

Pleasure is only important to one who doesn't have peace of mind.

There is something very beautiful in the things you say but today I am in a situation where I have to hold myself very tight in order to keep even 5 days without, what should I do? How can I convince myself and work on my mind that I do not need it, in my subconscious I know I do not need it and every time I come to watch I remind myself that I only suffer from it after ejaculation but still I can not stop myself and I convince Myself that I will not reach ejaculation but will only watch.

The thing I came to realise is that once you start masturbating, you will not stop until you ejaculate. So don't indulge in masturbation at all. Stay away from it like the plague, it will only cause you problems.
You need to remind you everytime, that masturbation will only make you feel bad. Remember of the aftermaths of masturbating and tell yourself if you want to go that route, I'm sure you don't want that. You see, everything is difficult because porn highjacked your brain. You need to fight this highjacking mentally. Porn is total evil and you need to destroy it by any means.

I agree with you on this last point. Just try to avoid pmo all together for the 90 days. You can focus on on your health, academics, work or social life for that period. Complicating things by compromising will just make you relapse.

I'm sorry I saw that reaction just now. Now unfortunately I fell again but there is a very good statement here that might have helped me and it is not at all to start masturbating. I have to watch porn and try to masturbate a bit without spilling and a little bit I never really succeed.
I do not know what condition I have reached that even in barely two days I manage to survive. I really feel lost.
Do you think that if I really take the matter of quitting porn for a week or a creator and stick to the goal I will be able to lie about it completely, or is it something very difficult and takes a long time?

Is the difficulty in stopping only in the first few days and over time the restraint becomes easier or over time it is really hard not to fall?

I'm already adapting this mindset. I make content for my porn genre (art and stories, involves fictional characters and no sex) and I've been trying to quit since it's affecting my mental health. Now, I have a major writing commission currently on hold (can't finish it right now due to schoolwork) so permanent abstinence is unlikely. (The commissioner prepaid $75 for it already, and doesn't want a refund because they live in another country and don't want to pay conversion costs. Also, I told them I'd finish it before starting nofap so it'd be bad practice to end it now) Now, it's possible that I can build enough willpower to finish the story without being tempted to relapse, but it's highly unlikely if we're being realistic as it'd be a huge trigger. (Hell, the amount of arousal I feel is pretty indicative of the quality of the story so if I don't relapse I'm doing something wrong)

But since I plan on finishing it at the end of the semester, that gives me a few good months to recover so at least I can make SOME progress. I think this is a good plan to follow.
