If you are struggling with over gamming , you must take a look below:

Messages from the founder of game quitting site, Cam :

When your life is controlled by an addiction, it's difficult to realise that there's anything wrong with you.

You can have people tell you that you need to get help, that you need to make a change, that you need to sort yourself out...

But it falls on deaf ears.

No matter what people say to you it only makes things worse, and can even make you angry at your loved ones for saying something so ridiculous.

So why do we try to do the same to other people?

When you know someone is struggling with video game addiction, why do we repeat the same unhelpful things to them?

"You're addicted to gaming!" "Those aren't your real friends!" "You need to stop wasting all your potential!"

We're just trying to help after all. Maybe they should be grateful for it...

Can you see how it sounds once you reverse the situation? You might want to help but in reality you're probably causing more harm than good.

So what can you do instead?

Learn from people that have spent years finding a solution to this problem. People whose job it is to help gamers, parents and loved ones through these seemingly impossible obstacles.

This Thursday at 11am PST we're hosting a live broadcast all about how you can overcome denial and start helping the gamer in your life realize their full potential - or if you're a gamer there will be a lot of good information for you too on how you can move forward as well.

The broadcast will be hosted by Nadja Streiter, our Game Quitters Programs Director. She is a licensed therapist who specializes in this issue and a mom of three.

Only 100 people will be able to join us live, so make sure to add it to your calendar and get there early to reserve your spot!

Admitting you have a problem is always the first step to recovery for an addict, and learning how to help someone see it for themselves is the first step for a loved one.

Take that first step now: https://gamequitte.rs/denial-webinar
