The "Eye Flick"

As someone who suffers badly from the trigger of real women in social situations, I would like to share something which was taught to me some years ago, when I last tried to stop PM. It is/was called the "eye flick".
Quite simply, when you see an attractive woman out and about, you register that for a second then flick your eyes away to another focal point.
It is helping me tremendously at this point in my journey and could help you.

Until you do it, it's difficult to comprehend how potent this is. I find myself looking back now to looking forward to going to certain places because it would guarantee an "eye-fest". When you are mired in the world of P this seems sensible; when detoxing it seems dangerous!

I know what you mean. You need to try to stop associating the image of the girl with your fantasies in that case. You have consumed enough in the view to begin that process, it sounds like. This happens to me sometimes.

 

That is indeed true. However, in my experience, this doe snot always involve staring, which can be a problem. It involves retaining an image for long enough to be able to appendage deviant thoughts to it. That is why it is important to disengage quickly.
