I wrote that life is a grand illusion, and when we get wrong habits the price we pay is destruction. We all think wrong. To start to think right we study the Bible. James 5:16 ESV “Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.” Today, will you commit to setting an alarm and praying for 5 minutes for people on this site? Today, will you commit to focusing on righteousness so that your prayer has great power? To break free of the grand illusion start making it a habit to “list” what is destroyed, or dies, or starts to die, or partially dies when we give in to lust. Here is my list. Over the last week I did not stare at any female at the beach or on TV, but, we all have our silly games to get around the rules. We need to check clearly that female over there, to make sure whether she is someone we need to turn away from. Or, we need to stop forward fasting early to make sure we don't miss something from the show. I did bend the rules this week so I will try to list what was affected. #1 I always pray for boldness. When I slip into sin my boldness quickly fades. #2 I always pray to increase in love. When I slip into lust, my ability to love starts to die, and sometimes is completely dead (temporarily). #3 When I slip into lust or sin, relationships become a struggle. #4 When I bend the rules, anger starts to rule again. #5 When I bend the rules, I am running from joy. When I fight to repent rapidly and fight to stay clean, I begin running toward joy again. Second, the list becomes filled with a lot of really destructive things if we continue in sin. But, it is still wise to have a list because your list is teaching you exactly what the wages of sin are. Today, start your list of what happens when you fall into lust. It will help inspire you to act differently next time. Today, commit to being in God's will by committing to praying for people at this site for 5 minutes daily. These are the types of actions that start to put you on the road toward freedom, and joy.
Unmet needs are at the top of a list for some. They sometimes lead to falls. Jesus sacrificed everything for us. Today, will you sacrifice one unmet need for Him? Why should we make it a habit to sacrifice unmet needs? Because giving in to short-term pleasures (With added destruction) always ends badly. Fighting to do things God's way starts us on the path toward healthy living. It is worth it. Second, practice starving the eyes. We have developed the habit of staring at sensual things. Now it is time to break that habit and to learn how to bounce our eyes away from sensual things (immediately). The new habit is: When your eyes bounce towards, bounce your eyes away, immediately!” When you bounce your eyes away you'll begin to starve your eyes as well. And, as you starve your eyes, you'll begin to lower your appetite for sexual images. Thanks to wedared.com for these tips. Third, practice praising the Lord when you bounce your eyes away. When we praise the Lord at these moments we are saying: Father, my joy comes from You and only You. I will practice patience and wait for Your pure joy.

I wish to thank you both, and everyone, who prays for me and the rest of us here. When compared to the huge number of humans who look at porn (it is estimated that 30% of all internet traffic concerns P) and then adding that to the number of people who aren't bothered about how lust widely affects their choices in every aspect of their lives, those of us trying to address this problem are very rare indeed. Although we are few in comparison, our task is monumentally important. We can help so many through prayer for everyone here and all others who choose to risk their immortal souls and forgo real happiness on earth for sake of this sin.
