It really depends.

If you get sexually excited when you see those pictures, i would say try to avoid looking or taking those pictures.

If you just don't feel anything while looking at them ( which i doubt, even though it's your sister ), you can continue.

Now, since a lot of people on this website, at the slight "indication" of sex, they just relapse, i really advise you not to take those pictures. BUT if you feel you don't get aroused, or associate those pictures to "sex", i guess that's fine.

Well fantasizing on your sister maybe something that a lot of young guys do, but honestly I don't think its doing any good.
Your sister shouldn't arouse you. You should protect her from the other creeps, not being the creep.

I'm sure this issue is more common than we think, but family is family, and love should be the aim, not lust.

This is more an ethical question. I can't comment on that, because there is many answers and points of view. I PERSONALLY believe that it could be detrimental to the relationship, but I don't have personal experience of cases like that in mind.

Honestly man, I think this is a great idea. Think of it as a test. Obviously you won't be aroused by her since she is your sister (if you do there are bigger problems on your plate), so you can be in a situation where there would be potential triggers but you can't give into them or let them trigger you.

If there is one thing we all can take away from quitting porn, it's that triggers and p-subs are EVERYWHERE, which we can't do anything about. That's where you need to fix your mindset so you're not aroused by them anymore. Think of this as a test of willpower.

Awesome to hear! Just keep on going and if you do happen to relapse pick yourself and keep on going. Relapses are to be expected, quitting porn isn't easy, but eventually you'll get to the point where it all clicks and is no longer an option.

I find that the best way I found to stop indulging was to eliminate all arousing thoughts, material, metal images. etc.

The big one to fight against is "objectification". If you look at that woman or that man on the street and you see a sex object that you could play with, your thoughts are still filled with fantasies.

That is triggering and a possible source of escalation to P-subs, masturbation and or PMO.
