    Hello all.

About a year ago, my marriage of 18 years ended. Sex had been almost non existent throughout, although we had it occasionally and sometimes quite kinky. Anyway the long periods of abstinence lead me to a lot of P and M. I told myself it was because of the lack of sex.

I used to M every night in order to sleep. I don’t need that any more.

Anyway, I’m now in a relationship where sex is important. I’ve been having problems with ED and have accepted that this may be partly down to the PMO and I’m committed to exploring a reboot.

I want to reboot properly but maintain a healthy sex life. Is this possible? I’ve been reading quite a bit of conflicting info.

I don’t associate real sex with porn but accept that the length of time I’ve been using P may have desensitised me a bit. I’ve been prescribed Medication which certainly helps with some of the ED but I don’t really want to continue using that indefinitely.

During medicated sex, I still have some difficulty O. It happens occasionally but can be frustrating for us both.

    Would appreciate your thoughts.

Welcome, I'm glad you're here. I'm so sorry about what happened with your marriage.

I don't really know what to say about the medical issues. But I do believe that giving your body a rest from porn and masturbation won't hurt, and will help.

In any case, if I can help in other ways, let me know.
