    Hey everyone,

I'm 29 and sexuality has always been a problem in my life. I've always had a large sex drive and it started becoming a real problem with my girlfriend back when I was 17 or 18. Luckily we worked trough this and that hasn't been a problem since. To help reduce my obsession with sex I gave up PMO for a while but I felt I could handle it and months later I was back at it. It wasn't a problem in my relationship so I thought it wouldn't affect me.
Then corona hit; my work allows me to work remote and I sometimes PMO'd on downtime while working and sometimes became often and often became regularly.
Sometimes between then and now I started edging; I could go for 4-5 days, often multiple hours a day before giving in to that release. A few hours later I would be back at it.
This would sometimes also result in minor erectile dysfunction with my SO but I still continued. Weird thing it's situational; PMO or edging, for me, is a problem while working but when I'm off the need to edge/PMO is gone.

Some weeks ago I stumbled upon a website where I clicked open a few video's before realizing that it contained some stuff I wasn't planning on seeing. I immediately closed all tabs and it has been eating at me since. I feel guilty; the stuff might be illegal in my country(not sure if only watching is) but I don't want this to come out and this has been the last straw in realizing I have a problem.
All the edging sessions since then have empowered my guilt and 23-04 I pulled the trigger and started researching the consequences of edging and porn addiction. That resulted me in watching some videos about how to kick the habit and rewire/reboot my brain.
Tomorrow I'm on my first week without PMO and i'm proud. It hasn't been the huge miss I thought it was going to be; I identified my triggers and find something else to do. For instance; when waiting for a process to finish I get my darts out and throw a few at the board I have in my workspace.
My goal is to kick the habit for at least 3-6 months and continually reëvaluating where im at. I don't know how much i'm going to use this site but it feels good to write it down and make some real commitment for myself.

    Any tips are welcome!

  2. I will say don't overstress yourself
    Be regular here
It motivates you to stick with what is right.

    Reduce social media use.
    As it contains triggers
Reduce usage of mobile as much as possible

    All the best
