Tips for and benefits of getting through the first week

    hey guys! I’d like to post some stuff that has helped me so far and then I will include some notable benefits from abstaining for only a week!
    Tips:
    -accept urges when they come up, don’t suppress them. What you resists persists! Simply accept the urge and carry on with your day. Meditation really helps me with the acceptance part.
    Benefits:
    -I feel slightly less awkward in social situations, this has been the most notable benefit. I also have sustained energy throughout the day. I used to drag through work and school every day but now I feel like I can handle it.
