Trying to reboot from 4th nov 2016

    Hello friends yesterday i decided to quit pmo and joined the community. today was my first day and i have deleted all the porn from my phone and pc. And on the suggestion of a fellow fappernaut named DJ I have listed my trigger points and ways to handle them:
    1) being alone in room... if i am alone in room ill try to come to this community or otherwise do some exercise in room .
    2)touching my body....i get aroused by touching my nipples(even though i am a man) so ill avoid touching myself except while bathing.
    3)Try not to lie on bed and just waste time ...instead ill try to seat on a chair and keep myself busy with studying.
    4)And keep updating my reboot thread.

    Today is my second day and while watching youtube i got aroused just by a glimpse of cleavage in a video. i thought about touching my self but i resisted and came online as i had decided.so everything seems okay now.

    Guard your eyes. You may need to stop watching YouTube for awhile and if you don't stop altogether, at least set the Restrictive Mode Filtering so it will restrict what you can watch.

    That's awesome. At this point in your journey, it appears that watching YouTube videos is like purposely walking a freeway during rush hour and then wondering why you keep getting hit by cars. You're seeing the probable danger and ignoring it thinking it somehow won't be a problem for you. I'm hoping you're now seeing it as the danger it is and like the freeway comparison, avoid it altogether or at least wait until the danger possible danger is minimal.

    I suggest to make a reboot plan. What were you researching on youtube when you saw the video? Make a firm resolution and find something to occupy your head, like you said, study.

    This is hard and no one does a full reboot by accident.

  8. Good luck. I get what you mean about the cleavage in the youtube vid - stuff like that can be a trigger point, and it's caused me issues in the past (not this relapse, but one a few years back).

    Hate to say it but you are better off avoiding all unnecessary online activity for a few weeks. Even newspapers online etc have triggers I have found. I was looking at a newspaper site today for news on a sporting event and right next to the sporting section headline is a big picture of several nude teenagers sitting on a couch (was an advertisement for a movie called BangGang that is gaining popularity). I have decided to wait a few more weeks myself to roam even innocent areas of the internet when possible. Trash is everywhere!

    Your doing great, remember if your weakness of giving in is the Internet than stay away unless it's for communication purposes and to update on NoFap, or if your weakness is being alone all day try to keep yourself busy!!!

    Well day 5 also over successfuly . now heading towards day 6. well there is one more trigger point that i have observed over last few days and that is the figure breasts asses of real women that i see in college. nowadays i am trying to keep my eyes off girls also. so wish me luck and if have any suggestion plz go ahead.

    Well good for you to making it thru another day!!!!

    It is nice that you identified a trigger and asking for a suggestion cause I've got 1 for you.

    1) when walking in a hallway instead of looking at people(girls) look either at a stationary object(object that doesn't move, ex: water fountain, snack & pop machines, lockers, etc...) and once to move pass the object move to the next one....or if your following somebody from a distance stare at the back of their heads while your walking

    2) don't make direct eye contact at the people but instead skim thru the people or scan thru them while your walking

    3)when walking talk to yourself your head.

    4) if your eyes, mind are straying tell yourself,"NO!!!!" and keep on going thru out your day.

    Well I don't know if anyof these will help but it's worth a try!!!!
