Whatever your qualification for the word addiction, even if you weren't, so what? If you see it as a positive change in your lifestyle then why not just keep doing it?

I see as positive what makes positive changes, namely an outcome. Doing something for the sake of doing it doesn't make any sense to me. If I had a real woman, maybe I would have never watched porn —I tend to think so. That means, either get an outcome or do what you can do, in the absence of something better. I have also visited prostitutes —not during reboot– and if it wasn't a costly and dubious habit I would go every week. With the same girl, if you were to ask.

So what? So I get to know myself better.

What data? I only have my diary. But how is going my diary to tell me if I was addicted? I don't feel withdrawal symptoms, or if I feel a porn withdrawal symptom, I was already feeling them before I quitted PMO.

Age is more meaningful than # of days since there are known biological changes especially after 40 as is the case with me. In general I'd say for us it's more of a mind game whereas for younger guys it's more both physical and mental. But of course that doesn't give you any details, it's up to you to look at the specifics. Maybe you have enough lined up that you're pretty clear mentally, but it wouldn't hurt to see what those things are and understand how it's working in your favor so far especially if you get to a point where you need to improve upon your regimen.

Yes, the latter is what I think is the cause, mental clarity. Too much potential damage to ignore. And age is going to be a factor defo, as some including yourself have pointed out.

That of course depends on the way you record the info. It may very well depend on how sensitive you are, and whether some pieces of information seems worth tracking or if it may seem it's not significant - it would take a certain amount of curiosity.

In your case it may feel too subtle so that it seems nonexistent, and for others where it's hard they may not be inclined to record the details of a (even just one, though obviously it should be continual tracking) reset/relapse because there is too much feelings of shame and guilt and they just shut down. There has to be some balance here in order to be able to stay with it and track things over time - detailed information other than the number of days.

This and the chaser effect is really dangerous after relapsing. There have been guys that have abstained for months and after relapsing can't get a week under the belt. Just keep on trucking and take one day at a time.
