Hey everyone! I'm a 19 y/o virgin. Never had a girlfriend before.Recently I heard about NoFap and decided to read up on it and it got me really interested when I saw what results guys are getting. I decided to join because I'd like to get rid of my porn addiction and get motivated to do a lot of stuff I could've been doing instead of fapping. It's been 3 days since I started but today I decided to join all of you and share my experience, my struggles. First 2 days went awesome without a single thought of any masturbating but today just before finally deciding to join all of you I almost watched porn. I'm feeling quite motivated to start this and see what results I get :)

    Welcome Detective,

You made a great decision to join us.

As you've already seen, it's very easy to slip back into old habits. Don't let setback dissuade you on your journey. There are bound to be bumps in the road. If you slip just pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and start again.

Have you set any particular goals yet? You've already decided some of the things you want to get out of this journey. These goals will help you achieve them. The list will grow and change as you do. And your goals will become more and more ambitious. Start small with a week or 2, maybe a month. Or accept the 90 day challenge and set yourself some intermediate goals. Guideposts, if you will, along your journey.

Good luck on your journey. We'll be waiting for you at your destination.

Stay strong and strive to achieve,
    Geyser

    Hi Invisible,

I agree with Geyser, it really helps to have a clear goal for your determination to have a direction and also it is good not to start with something to ambitious as it may seem too challenging the further into the challenge you get, which may mean relapse.I started on a 30 day challenge and just increased it to 60 then 90 now its 180 days. Also, that the sense of accomplishment you get as you complete your goals is a huge reward especially in NoFap because there are biological beneficial changes that come with the challenge, and these in themselves are the driving force as you may read from other fapstonauts posts, they say that ' they are never going back to that way of life ever' because life is so much better without PMO. You may find you get a girlfriend quicker than you think!

    cheers and best of luck.
