WHAT THE HELL?

not much useful to compare man, each one has his difficulties.

 

This, as I understand it, is due to the fact that young people were watching porn while their brains were still developing.

Some of the first wiring in their brains was set for porn.

Those of us who are older did not have high-speed internet porn until we were in our 20's or 30's.

I didn't start using it until the year 2000, when I was 28.

Our brains were already formed completely, and we developed new circuitry for porn.

The brain's program for porn is not original equipment for those of us older guys.

It is, for us, an add-on to whatever our brains had already developed, and it is more easily erased.

Porn is the most that young guys have known.

Their brains are set to respond to porn, as if that were what nature intended.

Those porn channels in younger brains are more deeply set because they were the first ones to form as these brains developed.

Neuroscience is discovering what is called "neuroplasticity."

That means that the human brain always has the ability to change and learn at any age.

That is the scientific hope for both the young and for those of us who are older.

It's because we haven't grown up with high speed internet. I miss the dial-up days when loading one picture took forever and you had time to hit the Esc key. Also the times when you had to actually walk into a video store and shamefully make your way to the back room while parents and their kids gave you the sad stare while they search for their family night flick. Then there was the horrible "be kind, please rewind" message haunting you and judging you after your porn VHS had finished.

 

I've never even seen a porn VHS!
