I have just started my reboot journey. Day 2 in, and things are ok. I am still feeling strong, although today I had a test which was stressful. The test went well, after lots of work. But today I felt celebratory after this test. I said to myself, 'I deserve something good after this hard work'. I have been here before, where my reward to myself is sometimes time spent online looking at pornography. But when I think of healthy ways to reward myself, I struggle to think of something. Any suggestions as to a healthy way to reboot after stress?
I've been trying to think of healthy ways to reward myself. 1. Go to the theater. 2. Buy a nice bottle of whiskey (or bev of your choice). Something to sip on. Obviously don't do this if you're an alcoholic. 3. Maybe some good pipe tobacco/cigars? 4. Go to a bookstore/library and get a new book. 5. Purchase a new game. 6. Go out with friends.
So many good ideas there, thanks! Whiskey is good. Love the idea of a book. Will have to make a plan to do this when I am trying to reboot from a stressful day...
