Some question, why do some porn users develop PIED and others don’t?

Is it the amount of Porn one watches? Is it because those who don’t have PIED watch porn a lot less per day/week than others?

Why do some smokers not get lung cancer? Why do some people eat high cholesterol, heavy meat diets and never get heart disease? Why do some people not get high from weed?

Simple truth is there is biological variability among humans, some of us have greater resistances to what in the greater population is almost always long term destructive behavior. One should never assume they are one of those with a greater biological resistance.

It is my belief that porn itself isn't the problem, but rather when porn is used as a replacement for human-to-human intimacy. For many years in my former relationship, P was my sex life. It was infinitely more reliable and enjoyable, and I programmed my mind into thinking that that was the only way to enjoy O'ing.

I know many people who watch very specific P and maintain a fast-paced sex life unaffected by their P consumption simply because they never use P as a replacement- it was always just a backup or a pastime. That isn't how most of us here used it and that is why we have the problems that we have.

Because they dont know how smoke it properly. Not being high if you smoke it fine is practically impossible.

Just wanted to answering that, the other things are correct.

I think this is right on. I don't think I can separate, so I want it out of my life.

That's exactly why you need to. There isn't a feeling on Earth better than watching your dysfunction diminish, if that's a problem you face. Seeing it in action again is better than the O itself and it's totally worth it.

I won't lie, though. I fucking LOVE(D) P. It was there for be when others weren't and it provided me with consistency when it couldn't be found elsewhere. But that temporary joy pales in comparison to the feeling of regaining control of your sexual abilities.

I was a porn user for 25 years and the only time I noticed I had no arousal was when I wanted to be with my girlfriend rather than my wife.

I was not aroused because i didn’t simply didn’t want it for the right reasons. For years after that I had Intercourse based on my duty (as a husband) rather than love, relationship or my sexual desire. Going against myself in this way probably harmed me to a degree and my out of control sex-feelings- cycle is likely connected.

For me it only happened once.

I would say many experiences women often have little good understanding on how how to perform orally and most times I find their mechanical motions are cute but not arousing. (I am not circumcised so some will suggest we don’t have a way to feel the same level of sensitivity as others ... but I actually think to have the penis sheathed in its skin makes it more sensitive not less.

There’s some people who really embrace the challenge and then the act is highly pleasurable... focusing on your partner is the best move I think—- not your own enjoyment.

If you have some Ed issues it might be an attachment issue more than you realize.

    Abstain and reset.
