There's many minor reasons I started NoFap - I was inspired by many success stories of increased confidence, less self-consciousnesses, and less social anxiety. However, the biggest reason I started was to (hopefully) make talking to girls easier. You see, I'm a senior in high school. That being said, there is prom at the end of the year. Basically, I have no bloody idea who I'm going to ask! I've never been good at talking to girls (approaching my female peers, initiating and maintaining conversation), so I have developed 0 (yes, a big fat ZERO) female friends during high school in which I could ask to prom. I've always been shy, introverted, but I figured PMOing could be the problem, so I figured I'd try NoFap to hopefully have a full reboot in time to ask someone. I know some of you might say "just go with your friends!" but that would really make me look and feel like a sad, pathetic loser! Considering they will all have dates as well, going alone isn't an option. I'm sure this dilemma will resolve itself in the end, but I felt the need to post this to gain some closure and get it off my chest. Any thoughts, ideas, or suggestions would be appreciated

Dude girls pick there guys like sometimes in march don't make the mistake I did and not go. Listen talk to girls now and figure who seems cool and work your way as far as asking figure what she would like all girls liked being asked differently but some ways work for the majority. No pressure cause its like 4-5 months away but try to see who would be an option I know winter break started but once january comes around talk to girls who you'd like to take who are single and then narrow it from there. Some tips from experience. YES do NoFap! watch the tv show The Pick up artist (i think you can find torrent) you will see there guy like you..hitting on girl..learning from zero, even 40 years old guy!! Take your lesson from there to talk to girls, it will show you some mistakes that you are doing. I would NOT go in the Mystery system all the way..he is too bitchi sometimes, BUT there is something to learn from him. NoFap will help in one aspect, it can help. you need also to change and work on how you deal with stuff how to talk to girl. Also, i noticed put INSANE pressure on yourself that you must get a girl. This is a sure recipe for failure!! you have to accept the worst case!! accept! that it might be you will not get the girl you like to prom, might even go alone or not go.once you can accept it, you will automatically take the pressure out of getting the girl. you will come less desperate to the girls!
