i think that may help me if other things don’t work. I am faith based but if God isn’t going to give me an answer on a successful method I’ll try almost anything. I’ve been stuck for some time and actually not sure I even want to start again. That motivation is not easy to find anymore.

I just relapsed again. Used to at least get 1/2 weeks free of P but now i struggle to even keep 3 days going.

I just can‘t keep myself 24/7 busy and at the end i just disregard everything, and relapse like a wild animal.

I assumed the risk of it. I disregarded myself once again, knowing that I would be able to deal with the pain later.
I can deal with the pain of relapsing, but I don't want to anymore.

After relapsing a few days ago, I'm now on day two. If I can make it a week this time, I'll be thrilled.
My job takes me away from home. Back home, I'm involved with a wonderful lady. I don't relapse as mich while I'm home, because I'm busy through out the day and at night I'm with her. But when I'm on the road, and I'm seating in my hotel, sometimes for a week, I get these urges, and then I go into a binge. And I'll edge for two days, sometimes to the point where it's just totally limp and hurting. There where I find myself now, in a hotel, fighting with myself.

I think, you have the power to change your environment. You seem very intelligent, maybe a bit too intelligent for the area and the people you hang with.

Many years ago, I ended up broke, flat broke, on unemployment and all. I was living in California. I new I had to get out. I packed my car, and decided to move to Florida. Drove all the way there. When I got there, I had no where to stay, found a roach motel, and this was latterly a roach motel, you can see them all around the room. But it was cheap $35 dollars a day. I was there 5 night, until I found someone renting a room $500 a month. Long story short. If where you are is not working for you, leave. Part of what makes us relapse is stress, we have to find ways to get rid of that.

I just relapsed after 21-days. Feeling a bit let down in having succumbed to what I attribute as a fix for feeling emotionally bad. I realize now that my PMO has little to do with sexual urges and everything to do with escaping feelings. Mostly I'm escaping the feelings I have around my career path that is not fulfilling. Unfortunately, I've built a long career in my profession and it's not something that I can easily change.
My new goal is to break the last streak of 21-days and take it one-day-at-a-time until I feel mentally well enough to not be tempted to PMO to feel better.

  7. Why did I relapse?
Most of the times it happened to me out of the blue. All of the sudden I felt so strong urges that I forgot all of my good intentions and masturbated. While doing it I knew that i would regret it, but I couldn't stop.
Meanwhile I think I discovered a pattern... the days before the relapse I had always very low sexual desires, then I felt a little rise, and then it suddenly happens.
Now I want to know what to do in these situations when it may happen again. Got some ideas, but they are still immature.
Yes I strongly agree. Without this vision you will not succeed. It's even questionable why to do nofap then at all.

    YES. Always restart

Relapsed a few days ago, and this time it's bad. I started edging to the point I'm sore now. I have to start taking Aleve to try help with the pain. Very depressing, but giving up.

Depends on how much you consciously influenced it. Were you half-awake? Did you masturbate afterwards? Did you think about sexual things before bed? (It seems to me this is often the reason behind sexual dreams, or some accumulated sexual tension.) My point is, if you honestly examine your behavior and thoughts around the time it happened, can you conclude that you didn't contribute to it? From my experience many times we (directly or indirectly) cause our relapses, but in dreams also some very random things can emerge, so only you know which case it is. In the end what truly matters isn't the number but whether you progress in unlearning the habits and patterns of thinking connected with PMO.

By the way, great that you found the strength to try again. It can be difficult to get out of that hole once you fall into it. When you finally make it out, the first days are easy, but then it gets slippery again. We are all brainwashed, not just us addicts, but everyone today seems brainwashed to various degrees, so never forget that not all your thoughts are truly yours, that things "normal" in society often aren't healthy or okay, and that you are always who you choose to be. Good luck!

  19. Hey friends, i had relapse about 36 times in my 25 journeys
what do you think i should continue or better i should choose to regulate my frequency of pmoing instead of cutting it off or i should leave this
I am asking this because nowadays i am just exhausted in my life and i am not able to find time for my things which can give me some sort of happiness not even family time also.

That's normal but stay aware because wet dream could cause chaser effect that will tempt you to relapse.
