Ok,i've been on nofap for 26 days.About 2 weeks ago,i had a back pain(specifically the right part of my back) which has hurt a bit,but for the last 2-3 days i've had pain in both my arms and also on my back.I don't know is this normal, although i think it is because of dopamine. Can anyone help me because i'm a bit scared to be honest xD
It does. Tons of people have complained about it while rebooting. Not everyone experiences it but nonetheless physical withdrawals from PMO are very real.
Body pain is a normal thing that many experience while on NoFap. For me I’ve had pretty severe stomach issues since my last long streak and at first I assumed they were unrelated, which was worrying me. But then nearly a dozen people came forward on my thread and said they experienced the same symptoms. It has a lot to do with the brain chemistry and your nervous system. Both of these are greatly affected by constant PMO and during abstinence they go into a sort of “shock” for a time while they repair themselves. As a result you’re likely to experience any number of mental and physical symptoms during your withdrawal phases. Not everything you experience is necessarily related to PMO withdrawal so when in doubt, get it checked out by a doctor. But there is a good chance that everything you’re feeling is simply withdrawals and will pass with time.
I know that I'm bumping an old thread, but I'm currently experiencing this now, and it sucks! I have this frequent pain in the muscle of my right forearm; it's like a searing, stabbing pain. I also get similar pains in my abdomen and pelvis.
i am experiencing the same. I hurt. Neck, back and joints. I also have been having more frequent headaches. My attention span sucks. I get soooo sleepy mid day too. All non issues before I started. I do believe that this is withdrawal and that it can be really rough. Hang in there. Try to maintain a good diet and stay hydrated. Peace.
For me it lasted for a few months. It didn't occur at regular intervals; it was pretty random. The headaches are weird; it's like a pressure behind and between the eyes that occasionally radiates down to the cheekbones. I even got weird pains in my teeth sometimes. It's ridiculous how intense the physical withdrawal symptoms can be for some people.
My whole body hurts I’m on day 31 my shoulder is tender. My back hurts. Could be a flatline but I just got out of a flatline
Im on day 25 . Im good throughout the day mainly because i tend to keep myself commited during the day. But by evening i get a throbbing kind of a headache on the right side. Its the 3rd day in a row, im experiencing it. Is it part of the Reboot package? I mean did any of you experience this headache or am i the only one??
I have noticed that I will get a headache when I have a strong trigger and then do nothing with the trigger. I wonder if there is a way to ease off the hit so there is not such a harsh withdrawal.
I am more than a month sober. I have experienced this abdominal pain on and off in my current streak plus mild diarrhea (not persistent).
I've just searched body ache due to NoFap and I'm here now it's confirmed I'm on around day 10 of NoFap felt relieved after reading all of your convo !
So all of u guys have this?? I been having pain in my lower back, neck, arms and my whole leg for about a week now and couldnt figure out what it was. I thought i was dying or something
Wally542, you're good bro, it's withdrawals. I just relapsed a few days ago, but for me, it seems like my body is more susceptible to injury and sickness. I injured both my shoulders on my last streak when I was experiencing heavy withdrawals. And I got Covid twice, seems like my body just gives up for awhile. I also get body aches like you mentioned, feels like you have the flu almost. Weird, but goes to show you how much of a drug this is.
physical pain is part of life....we are just so used to numbing ourselves try yoga, qui gong or simply long walks VERY IMPORTANT: good breathing technique
