I haven't fapped or watched porn in 8 full weeks. But had 2 wet dreams in the end of 3rd and 8th weeks respectively. What I've come to know is fantasizing leads to a wet dream which is a relapse. You don't have to fap to relapse. BTW, I'm insomniac which has me fantasizing in the nights. So, I ask you to never fantasize til you reboot. I had rebooted in 3 weeks not fantasizing. Edit: I take back what I said about wet dreams. Your experience pertaining to sexual stimuli triggers a wet dream. Seems to me when you're a good amount of days in, you have the awareness to come out of the dream before you O.
How is that even possible ? If working out in the gym and some attractive chick shows up with tight yoga pants accentuating the shape of her arse and am arroused and unfortunately it stays on my mind until the morning after and I have a wet dream. Isn't the same equivalent as looking at anything sexual stimulus as looking at porn , hell even just surfing the net innocently you see a chick in a swimsuit , the fact is you can't get away from it. To not masturbate is not to fap , unless you jerk your roster and cum I don't see how any kind of wet dream is a relapse.
I've had like 5 wet dreams in the past 2ish weeks, just had one last night. Before in my life I didn't get wet dreams and if I rarely did, they weren't sexual. Now after doing hard mode for almost 5 months, my body needs a release and this is what I discovered (from another post of mine) : The thing is, I have 0 desire to watch porn and I'm not addicted to it anymore. It's not on my mind at all during the day. But I do have some mild fantasies every time I go to bed. I don't think they are the cause of this, though they might enforce the real cause. The real cause I believe is, that my body wants to get rid of the sperm and since I always used to ejaculate to porn, my mind connects the act of ejaculating to porn. So I don't think I ejaculate because of imagery of porn in my mind, instead I get the imagery of porn because of the need to ejaculate.
For myself and from what I gather many, many others - Fantasizing (or peeking), particularly late at night most definitely increases chances of having a wet dream. Plenty of guys never have wet dreams despite being completely celibate. @OP Wet dreams are not a relapse. Intentional acts are relapse-type behaviors. Yes wet dreams carry many symptoms of relapse (headaches, brain fog, chaser effect etc.) but you can't consider them to be a relapse.
Yes, I keep saying this. Wet dreams are under one's control. If you fantasize during the day, it's much more likely to get one. Wet dreams are abnormal and a sign that one still has unresolved issues. It's abnormal for a sexually matured adult to get wet dreams.
I don't know what you guys have against fantasizing, every man fantasizes about sex for years before losing his virginity, it's only natural, your body is ready for sex and your mind works on favour, making you think of how that woman would look naked and what you'd do to her. I'm against porn and against excessive MO (I'm on day 26) but I'm not against sexual thoughts, of course you need sexual thoughts, you need to desire sex for it to be something thrilling to happen. Some of you seem to want to repress your sexual desire for women.
It is true that fantasising leads to wet dreams. I've been fantasizing lately about a friend and I've had 2 wet dreams in last 3 days. Previously too, I've had wet dreams whenever I went to bed fantasizing about my dates. So trying not to fantasize before going to bed will help preventing wet dreams.
I don’t think it’s a relapse. Your body can’t hold all the semen that you’ve stored in it, it’s going to have to come out eventually
This is just my opinion. Wet dreams are normal. I started getting wet dreams in my early teens.During that age I did not know what sex was and I never had any emotion of lust.
I can stop wet dreams You are right, fantasy is lie. Don't look at girls. Even in real life. Our fantasies are crazy. Try this:
I had similar situation at gym, but no it doesn't stay in your mind, it only stays there if you let it. It is dumb excuse, because we all have control over our mind. You have to let go of those thoughts, meditate, use binaural beats, change your environment, many things you can do. You can intentionally have wet dream with lucid dreaming, or the fact that you want to have wet dream for relief. That is what makes it intentional and thus a relapse.
You were a teen, you had no control over sexual function. I said it's abnormal for a sexually matured man.
Everyone is different. I am on nofap monkmode.I still get wet dreams even though I have 0 urges.I even work out everyday and take cold showers. Wet dreams are not abnormal. However, I believe they will reduce with time.
I used to get dreams very often when i was doing my first monk mode. Now I don't get them at all even after weeks of abstinence, even if I get turned on during the day. The switch happened when I decided I want to orgasm from real sex, not my brain. And the wet dreams just stopped. My point is that they are under our control even if it feels like they are not and are just random.
