  1. Hi there,

I'm busy setting up a lifestyle that is so fulfilling that masturbation doesn't have to be an option anymore.
Most people masturbate because they have an unfulfilling sexual lifestyle. What I'm going to do is to learn a way of life that doesn't need fapping.
The motivation for not fapping shouldn't be forcing yourself not to fap (forcing yourself is a good way to start), but because I just don't need this kind of substitute drug.
Look. in the internet you can search for every pic and porn you wish for. You can have everything you want in an instant. Type some words, click and BOOM highly emotionally loaded hot pic/porn for free! Know that every emotional bond comes from something you have experienced in your life.

But that's not the way I want to live. It's about moral issues but also about the dynamics in my life. I want to meet other people and have a good time together and be free of lust and despair when it would just hurt the harmony in a group. Or hurt my reputation.

There are points I'm working on, but it's just a start:
    - Health (To live a healthy lifestyle, healthy nutrition, psychological balance)
    - Fitness (To have a sexy body, to win contests, to be strong and resilient)
    - Meeting the right kind of woman (To distinguish different kinds of women from each other, to know how to talk to them in a dating environment or on the street, to find out what they want/need from you, what woman is good for you what woman is bad for you and in reverse)
    - Dexterity (To be a fast, efficient thinker, to plan everything you do and execute it cleanly, to have great knowledge from the right sources, to know how to act according to a situation)
    - Toughness in a working environment (To survive in a workplace, to make a good impression even under pressure, to objectively deconstruct destructive intentions, to grow on your work)
    - Sociability (To easily meet new people and have a good time with them, to be popular, to know when to be humble and when to claim something, to know different kinds of personalities)

I don't know if I will ever reach this goals. But I'm working on them with passion. And I hope we can exchange experiences.

A big part of a satisfied life is satisfying relationships. Relationships that allow you to give, to invest in someone. Kids are really huge for this. But you can also volunteer, especially in a position where your vulnerability can be exposed.

Don’t kid yourself, if you seek a satisfying life in activities that are built around your SELF, you will not be fulfilled. The self is puny, entitled, grabby, and never satisfied. Watch out!

  3. Yeah, you mean that it doesn't satisfy when I say: "Look at ME I do THIS and THAT, I'm so great." or "Look at the job I have, I AM THIS and I AM THAT, I'm such a great person."
And in the end I'm just another asshole who is nagging around because he wants everything in the world - especially the thing he can't have. That are then the things he wants the most.

I like Lao Tse quotes like this:
Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.

Kindness in words creates confidence. Kindness in thinking creates profoundness. Kindness in giving creates love.

A good traveler has no fixed plans, and is not intent on arriving.

To the mind that is still, the whole universe surrenders.

Good post and good responses here.
I have to totally agree with what you guys said about relationships and connections and can recommend the book "lost connections" by Johann Hari.
Even though a controversial figure sometimes I really enjoyed his book and I could not put it down and read it within two days.

And even though nothing beats actually spending time together with someone physically in the same space I really enjoy hanging out with some NoFap guys in a agaming session. Just having fun but at the same time holding each other accountable and talking about stuff that matters to us. It really helps with the journey.
Plus it's often times just easier to connect like this rather than traveling and meeting up with Jobs/studies/take your pick.

Hey man, Juju to clarify. What exactly are you interested in. Gaming or what OP suggests?

  7. Does anyone play Street Fighter 4? That's the only game I'm playing on my PC right now. Maybe I'll buy Street Fighter 5 or something.

  8. Well most of you say the most important thing for a filfilling life is satisfying work.

As a consquence I'll carry on being inspired by Simon Sinek. (And many other passionate working people.)
