    Today has been ne of the hardest days yet. I almost relapsed was so close. I have this weird feeling in my private regions sometimes when its flaccid like a weird itch and my immediate reaction is to squeeze it, but then i get hard usually if go and use the bathroom it goes away. does anyone else have this feeling? I'm struggling hard tonight i hope i can make it till tomorrow I cant afford to relapse

    Hey man - I genuinely feel your pain, you are discovering idiosyncrasies within your body and you are getting obsessed about them. You will notice changes in body as you progress in NoFap. Acknowledge them, but do not become too focused on them. Instead use the power you gained to advance your life and your career. Stay strong, train and eat the right things.

  3. Day 0 check (relapse), back to the academy, but feeling ok because know what i did wrong, this time will hopefully be more succesfull.

    Day 5 here! Halfway through the first class upgrade. Been feeling a little anxious because of elections but keeping my mind off it with reading and video games. Let’s get this bread!!

    Day 6 here! Was feeling pretty frustrated yesterday from losing some video games and I usually turn to porn but this time I’m like it’s not worth it and just went to bed. Porn makes me feel like I’m in control and feels like a reward at times but I know that it’s all a lie and it’s such a brief moment of satisfaction. Today I will not turn to porn every hour or every minute

    Day 105 - Check In.

    Temptation will come. It's not about self control. In fact, we don't want to get to the point of having to use self control. By the time we get the point of using self control we have usually already lost. The key is to put things in place or avoid situations so we won't be tempted and then have to be self controlled. People who are best at "self control" are the people that are best at putting things in place to remove temptation in the first place. That is why they have good outcomes. Because they avoid temptation and not because the have superior self discipline. This is something that really hit home for me and was fleshed out in a podcast (The Happiness Lab) describing Plato's Allegory of the Chariot. Great listen.

    Keep moving forward everyone.

    Day 7! Just reached my previous streak from last week. I won’t stop here though. Has a bad habit of sleeping at 2am every day this week even though I have work at 8am. Was up playing video games. Any tips on sleeping earlier?

    @uglypenguin123 I would recomend trying to abstain from exciting activities (like video games / tv-shows...) around 1 or 2 h before your desired bed time. After maybe 1 to 2 weeks of this you should develop the habit to go to bed earlier and you can usually reintroduce these exciting activies until closer to your bed time (if you want).

    If you like apps, there is also one called Sleep Town that might help you.
