Congratulations!!! @LuckyMan - Uruk-Hai @americanbison - Ford of Bruinen / Eriador @kingsmokepoof - Pass of Caradhras / Misty Mountains @I Am Somebody - Lothlórien / Wilderland A wave of support to our brother @Cartographer facing a hard time. Hang in there brother, we´re with you!!!! Continuing with "easy_peasy_method". Have a great weekend Fellowship!!!! "Chapter 1 Introduction This hack_book will enable you to stop using pornography immediately, painlessly, and permanently without willpower or any sense of deprivation or sacrifice. It won’t place any judgement, embarrassment, or pressure to undergo painful measures. In fact, there’s absolutely no need to cut down or reduce your usage whilst reading; doing so is actually detrimental. Perhaps this goes against everything you’ve ever been told, but ask yourself if what you’ve been told has worked? If it had, you wouldn’t be reading this hack_book. Pornography addiction manifests in various ways with far-reaching societal effects. Many people use pornography because the internet allows instantaneous access to supernormal stimuli. Consider if the following questions apply to you. Do you spend far more time viewing porn than you originally intended? Are you unsuccessful in efforts to stop or limit your consumption of pornography? Has time spent viewing pornography interfered with, or taken precedence over personal or professional commitments, hobbies, or relationships in your life? Do you go out of your way to keep your pornography consumption secret (e.g. deleting browser history, lying about viewing porn)? Has viewing pornography caused significant problems in intimate relationship(s)? Do you experience a cycle of arousal and enjoyment before and during pornography consumption, followed by feelings of shame, guilt, and remorse after? Do you spend significant amounts of time thinking about pornography, even when not watching it? Has viewing pornography caused any other negative consequences in your personal or professional life (e.g. missed work, poor performance, neglected relationships, financial problems)? If you’re a porn user that depends on it for masturbation or sex at all, the only thing you need to do is read on. If you’re here for a loved one, all you need to do is persuade them to read this book. If unable to persuade them, read the book yourself. Understanding the method assists getting the message across and preventing your children from starting. Don’t be fooled by the fact that they don’t have access to it now – all do before getting hooked."
Day 15 When I first found this challenge I never thought I’d make it this far on my first attempt, but then again I’m so tired of my addiction that I pray my final relapse has already been and gone. I’m now a Hobbit! Celebrating this milestone with a nice cold beer - it comes in pints! Congratulations to everyone else on the same journey; even if you’ve relapsed or you’re struggling like myself, with each day we’re all one step closer to freedom.
Day 0. I relapsed. I feel sad and guilty but i dont want to stay with that feeling , I want to start again but with more compromise and responsability and meditating I realize that I need a better motivation and erase totally my social media and better plan to overcome my urges and avoid the triggers , and finally a continueous self afirmation all of these with the help of God. Finally saying that, I usually use my journal to expres how I feel but in my case its not working so I'm gonna put it here while I'm updating my streak . So starting to day my motivatión is: I want to: 1. To live in celibacy and love God and others in true love 2. To Be a highly productive person 3. To Be a good friend 4. To Be a workout man I aprecciate all you support brothers and sisters and I hope in God we all can destroy the ring and be free of the PMO lie and celebrate the new life that is given to us. God Bless you all
Just to add to what was already said. People escape from all sorts of emotional dis-balance in their lives be it grief or happiness, celebration. People do prefer to stay in the state of inner peace for the most of the time , although sometimes not consciously, and use any ways to get there only sometimes the choice is not wise and they get themself caught in a suffering loop or downward spiral to be more precise, cos overtime it only gets worse.
Brother to be productive you need to prioritize your wants and do the most important, the hardest one(but with the biggest payoff) first. And number 1. on your list contains other three(2.3.4.)in it, if you are not aware of it. So just live in celibacy, love God and others in true love and your other wants will be taken care off!
Brother if you want to stay clean and keep progressing you should not use alcohol cos it weakens self-control and determination to stay clean.
Thanks Bro for your words and yes I know I just mentionted 2,3 and 4 just to be more descriptive with myself but it is true that the base is the number 1 in those and other more areas . Thanks stay strong and God Bless.
And it is not motivation you need, you need to take a red pill cos in your mind there are still illusions ingrained about PMO you need to really see it and its work for what they really are to erase those ingrained delusions from there and for that you need to study everything about rebooting(one source at a time, maybe start from hot SPAM REMOVED (spam code #001) - REPORT TO MODERATION hack_book) and the negative effects of PMO. Don't fool yourself on being able to pass into the next grade without tons of studies and thinking and increased awareness-vigilance. If you study then the fact that you have relapsed shows that you study not hard enough.Double or triple your study time to get through and pass the exam by Lust.
@Slider8 you’re absolutely right, alcohol does inhibit self-control; however I am well aware of its effects as well as my own limits, which is why I am only enjoying the beer as a treat for my progress, not as a means to ‘cope’ with the withdrawal from PMO. I am grateful for your concern, but rest assured I am being incredibly cautious!
You said: This is older post to what you said: You see drinking alcohol is an unhealthy escapist behavior what other way you could have come to inner peace from excitement of celebration ?
Day 1 @CrimsnBlade @RiseToGreatness thanks for the support, my friends. It was a quick and stupid reaction. The purpose of this challenge, which is not to fap, watching porn etc., is to embrace the life as it is and feel our true personalities. You guys make me want to be a better man I appreciate it!
Day 4. Had some really strong urges, but i just kept my mind focused on work and the urges eventually subsided after a few hours. So far so good, need to keep my focus.
@Slider8 please know that I do understand you, drinking alcohol (to excess) is indeed an unhealthy escapist behaviour. That being said, I am not in a state of ‘emotional dis-balance’, neither am I attempting to find ‘inner-peace’ by having a drink. I find it quite difficult that you repeatedly present your own advice as infallible, when we are all brothers here on this thread to support and learn from one another.
Well I dont know if it is infalliable,I just speak my mind out and I don't mind to be corrected if I'm wrong about something but alcohol in any quantities is a poison and I'm adamant about it. It is exactly like PMO there is no edging and fishing on my behalf when it comes to deal with it,It is an evil drink should be avoided by those who seek self-improvement in any amounts.
Day 1, Very active day. Woke up for a 5 mile run and intend to do so again tomorrow. Mixing concrete all day has me pretty winded too. Looking at coming back into this streak without feeling any guild or remorse to myself. I will continue to do my best and take every reset in stride (without intending to have a reset of course). Wishing you all the best!
