I'm almost finished reading Harry Potter. My addiction to P and M has been a lot less since I (re)started my recovering in Gamblers Anonymous. I think that when tackling both of these addictions, my commitment to staying clean from gambling took precedence over P and M. Perhaps it shouldn't have, but it did. So it's definitely been better these past three years than it was before. I'm finding that using the same principles from GA can be effective in staying clean. And in some ways, it is easier because in GA, I'll go to weekly meetings whereas I can log in here whenever I have an urge and post, like posts, or reply with encouragements. So thanks for listening to my share. Let's go Pentatonic! Let's make that Quidditch Team! You'll be a great Keeper! OliverJoseph, my patronus is most definitely a Stag! Lucifer, let's get that full week in and more. One day at a time! a unique user - love that Churchill quote! Don't Look Book - Great username. Always forward looking we should be! Every single time we fall, we get stronger because we get back up again Remember that 45 days is huge. If you were a sports team and your record is 45-1, you'd be top of the league!
Stayed up until 3 AM last night to finish Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I am done! Day 22 for my so I am a Year 3 student. Think I'll celebrate by going to Hogsmeade and have myself a butterbeer! Have a great weekend guys and keep at it!
Day 11 in Year 1 Gryffindor House complete. "Today, I am kind to myself. I forgive myself. I accept my flaws"
Day 6. Passing some busy days, which is good coz I don't have time for endless scrolling through fb. Lots of triggers over there. I've been thinking about deleting my fb permanently but there's too much university stuff there, all the news and events and shit. So have to control.
Day 12 in Year 1 Gryffindor House complete. Feels like I'm fighting urges every minute now! "My crown is waiting as soon as I get the courage to wear it."
