Can you please send me evidence where people report getting PAWS when they are in withdrawal from caffeine ?

"As this is all anecdotal its hard to say for sure what either of these drugs have on paws recovery from pmo specifically."

PAWS occurs because of the chemical imbalance in the brain caused by alcohol, drugs, medications or PMO.

Go to any alcohol or drug recovery site you can find on the internet and call any rehab center. Everyone will tell you that alcohol and drugs change your brain chemistry. It's all officially proven.

As I have mentioned several times, I had PAWS reductions at month 4, 6, 18 and 32.

My current symptoms are: social anxiety, anhedonia, brain fog, fatigue, low energy, low motivation, low libido, no morning wood, weak bladder and urine stream.

I have mentioned more details in the previous comments.

I have published most of the posts on Reddit.

This is one of my posts:

    https://www.reddit.com/r/pureretention/comments/vqlb06/30_months_flatline_paws/

On my profile, you can read through my story.

    --->

The other long rebooters won't appear here and they rarely publish anything on Reddit.

I read on this site through the posts under "success stories" and have only found one interesting post so far. The others are just ridiculous and none of them have long streaks like me and the other retainers I know. I even have weekly phone contact with some of them.

I am disappointed with this forum here. Most of it is just garbage like on the sub on Reddit.

Even those who have long streaks relapse every now and then. Some use alcohol, drugs or even have sex. None of this is a clean streak and I just can't take it seriously.

Who here can claim to have a clean streak and is abstinent for over 12 months ?

My question was not about PAWS reduction. My question was how many years of PMO are you recovering from? Naturally the number of years you are recovering from will have an affect on your overall recovery.

  4. I actually went through caffeine withdrawals two years ago. I drank a lot of coffee, energy drinks ,and preworkout for 10yrs. I had really bad withdrawals which lasted for 8 plus months. The anxiety and dizziness was hell. I wish I got those symptoms instead of the Anhedonia. It all happened when I got my 1st panic attack at work. I knew it was the caffeine so within two days the withdrawals started.

  5. There is a rebooter named "NofapSuccess2018" who claimed that his PAWS ended at 3.5 years. Maybe he's probably in this forum or not.

I have spoken to NOFAPSuccess2018, he is one of the few people I know that has had the longest, cleanest reboot. It took him 4 years to recover with no relapses.

    https://www.reddit.com/r/NoFap/comments/t5w20x/1433_days_47_months_thats_how_long_it_took/

He also believed that Caffeine DID make PAWS worse:

Just to follow up, here is a brief Reddit conversation from NOFAPSuccess2018 and a fellow rebooter on how to get out of PAWS/2+ year flatline:

How do I get out of paws or a 2+ year flatline? What things helped u the most? I am able to have sex with my gf but after several orgasms I can’t do it again

I was there no too long ago. Pace them out, one orgasm a week. Have sex as often as you like. Lots or kissing and touching, fool around a lot, but no orgasms for you. Lots for her, none for you. Your brain needs to rewire, and sex without orgasm is the fastest way. It works!

You have asked the following question in your previous comment:

"Do you feel as though you are making progress ?"

And that's why I have mentioned the PAWS reductions.

That's really crazy. Thank you for the information.

I have never thought that a person can get withdrawals or post acute withdrawals from caffeine abstinence. I have done a little research on Google and have found some guys that have reported to have withdrawals because of caffeine abstinence.

I have done that. You were right. Thank you for the information.

I have never thought that a person can get withdrawals or post acute withdrawals from caffeine abstinence. I have done a little research on Google and have found some guys that have reported to have withdrawals because of caffeine abstinence.

I have noticed in the past, that my PAWS would get worse when I have consumed caffeine or to much sugar.

I will do more resarch regarding caffeine and the brain chemistry.

  14. Yeah, I didn’t think caffeine could do that to you but just like pmo it’s a stimulating. I definitely check out the decaf forum on Reddit. I had the headaches too just like the pmo withdrawal. Everything got better with time. I haven’t touched caffeine two years now.

  15. That’s why I been so confused about hard mode. Another on yourbrainrebalanced YoungDawg came out of flatline because he took Laxepro a antidepressant and I think he also was having sex. He recovered 2.5years. I mean I can definitely say I have came along way from when I first couldn’t have a erection to my gf. I mean I literally had successful sex the past two years before my issue. I read some guys are still in flatlines because they relapse to PMO and other guys are using Ed drugs stay in flatline. Luckily I haven’t resorted to that. I’ll keep pushing

But again, my first question was how many years of PMO are you recovering from?

If you don’t care to answer that is fine, but you mentioned that you have a perfect streak with no relapses, so it would be really helpful to understand how many years of PMO you are recovering from. 20 years? 15 years? 5 years?

Like I said if you don’t want to answer there is no issue.

His answer was in the link he provided - "I am 25 years old and have done PMO (Porn, masturbation, orgasm) from age 13-22".

Of course though this doesn't tell the whole story. Is that 9 years of two 20 minute pmo sessions per week or is that 9 years of daily edging marathons with multiple ejaculations? I presume it's closer to the latter for him to be in such a long recovery, that or he's just extremely unlucky(he's unlucky either way to be fair).

It‘s your problem if you don‘t read the post that I have shared.

  19. My conclusion is that the pain of the withdrawals is the release of the ignored trauma. Fapping, for me, eradicated my personality, because that's what my younger self believed I should do. Defense mechanism. Back in the 70s it was beer and weed. Now we have both those things plus porn and videogames.

Sadly, when you get rid of one thing you get rid of it all--you can't selectively pick and choose which traits to keep. If I wanted to get rid of my sensitivity and artistic-bent then I had to nullify the whole shebang. Years and years of unprocessed emotions. A fuckton of anger.

My dreams deal with the past quite often. Almost all of the time. Fears. Worries. Subconscious dirt. Only lately have I had some that process recent events.

The only thing that I'm holding onto at this point is that once the traumas are dealt with I can walk away a free man.

36.2 months and still in the doldrums. Thought I was out of it a couple of months ago but then the PAWs came back stronger than ever. And longer than ever. The pain of this last wave has been some of the most brutal I've ever endured, and it's lasted longer than any other wave. By far.

I don't know. I've spent countless hours/days/months trying to figure out what's going on. And I still got nothing. This is just the most recent guess.

I just wish I could sleep normally.

Edit: another theory I play with is more mathematical. It's akin to calculus, with multiple variables at play.

variables include: -the amount of time addicted -binges (I can tell when a certain wave contains a past binge, because I'll feel like complete dogshit for like 2 hours straight, randomly) -kindling (this might be the biggest factor) -length of streaks before the one you are currently on -genetics -mental illness (if there) -sensitivity (as a whole) -type of genres (the sicker the worst) -many more

Somehow all of this shit factors into a concrete amount of time that needs to be spent healing. An exact number, regardless of trauma or emotion or any other esoteric factors.

    Just another guess.
