Good things are getting posted, including newer bands. Here take the song of the day from me. This is where my username came from :
I was into the late 1980s early 1990s glam metal scene. Van Halen, Motley Crue, Poison, Warrant, Skid Row, Guns N' Roses, Slaughter, Cinderella, Ozzy Osborne, Whitesnake and Twisted Sister. I have two summer concert tickets: Black Sabbath - Iommi, Ozzy and Geezer. Guns N' Roses - Axl, Slash and Duff.
Hi there. My names Ruan and i listen to Arch Enemy, Asking Alexandria and Slipknot. What are your views on my bands?
It's not trve kvlt, so it's obviously bad. - A Metal Elitist. XD I'm obviously not one, as i also enjoy slipknot. Just listen to whatever you like. If it sounds good to you, don't be embarrassed or feel wierd about it, just because its not "trve kvlt". As Matt Heavy from Trivium once said: " Just cuz' you listen to ultra cultist satanic black metal from the farthest regions of Iceland, doesn't really make you tough ".
I like the songs "Duality" and "Spit it Out". Groups like Slipknot really got the ball rolling in terms of de-tuning guitars. Now everyone does it and groups also go with 7- or 8-strings as well.
I don't listen to that much metal anymore, but I was into the atmospheric stuff (black, doom, slude, post and sometimes progressive metal) and some brutal death metal for when I didn't have enough time I tried to form a doom metal band, but it didn't work out. Listen to the song sketches I advertised my former bassist with, if you like (zero production value guaranteed): (The first song is twelve minutes long and requires some patience, but the final third is crazy!)
I would like to show you some metal bands from my hometown of Puerto Rico. These are death metal bands.
∆ ∆ Yes, there are more P.R. metal bands, but I can't keep posting em for now. So, I hope y'all liked em.
many times i wonder myself if my life would be better when i was a satanist. for many years, i still doubt my belief. 10 years of depression, disconnection, and being dead alive. I've never lived. There was absolutely no joy. I just exist. band for today: Dimmu Borgir Symphonic Black Metal From Norway Dimmu Borgir - Gateways "Be the broken or the breaker Be the giver or the undertaker ...Be the healer or the faker"
My very favorite (forcing me to pick one) is After Forever on Master of Reality. I saw them perform this song live on their Reunion tour. The lighting and the guitar riffs were phenomenal. My favorite album is Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. The band really seems to come together for this album. They never return to this peak, with the eventuality of Ozzy being let go and starting his solo career. In the California video that you provided, I noted that Ozzy messed up the final lyrics on War Pigs. Question for you... Which 1980 album is the better album? Blizzard of Ozz (Ozzy's first solo album) or Heaven and Hell (Black Sabbath's first album post Ozzy)?
