I want to share my update. My relapses have become more frequent lately, I can barely hold on for 2-3 days, although previously I could stay clean for 12-21 days.
I do not understand, as soon as I joined the nofap community, it became harder for me to control myself.
Sometimes just reading other fapstronauts posts starts trigerring me, and I start having thoughts about sp, and other sissy stuff. Finally I just can’t control myself and got a relapce.
It seems to me that the more I try to control myself, the more difficult it becomes to restrain myself from failures.
Sometimes I feel that I am losing something very significant, the only thing that brings me pleasure in this life - sp, M, AM, other sissy staff.
The only thing I understand is that I am in complete shit and I have huge problems.
Has anyone encountered similar problems? How do you stay strong?

I was in a similar situation for awhile. I’d regularly relapse on day 1 or 2. One thing that’s helped me is to stop using the day counter. The

idea being to stop thinking of this as temporary and just focus on making it one day at a time. There was before, when you used porn, and there is now, where you are free. Won’t work for everyone, but it’s worked really really well for me so far.

Hmm, it's a really interesting point. This way I can focus on my life instead of constantly thinking about porn addiction and just try to forget about porn for some time.
This is what I really did before and that's why was able to stay clean for 12-21 days.

@Becoming Jasmine
but at some point, let's say in 2 weeks, I have to be ready when pornography thoughts will appear in my head by themselves.
And here so far I have not found the right recipe for myself.
How at the same time not to think about porn and forget about it at all, but be prepared for the difficult period when the desire becomes huge.

I agree with @Becoming Jasmine focusing on the day counter can help and hurt in many ways.

As someone who hasn't seen porn in over a year, the only thing I know is that if you want to be free, you'll have to change the way you treat porn. The number one mistake anyone can make is to think they are weaker than porn. You aren't.

You may be dependent on it like I was, but you're never weaker. Porn is a bad friend, an enemy even. Imagine porn was a person, someone who wants you addicted to drugs, alcohol, ruining your life... Would you still want to hang around with that person?
