Thank you for your apology Anne-Dauphine. I was not speaking only from my perspective. The changes you have made, have resulted in posts that are lovely to read. You're a real sweetheart! ;)

Thanks for mentioning me! Kinda funny how the positive feedback I've been getting from this forum lately is giving me quite the ego boost :D

I do think it's a good idea to make a list of success stories and journals of successful fapstronauts, so people can get motivation and inspiration from these stories. Whenever I check the "New Posts", I find 90% cries for help and only very few positively motivating posts so I do think this is helpful.

Oh the one hand I like this thread because I don't have to scour the site looking for people that have rebooted further than 90 days. On the other hand I agree with Tombuktu, and this may alienate new members of the community who would get the impression that this is a popularity contest, even though we know its not. But then again old members should be able to reacquaint themselves, from past experience in previous forums. So it's tricky.

@CaptainB: You wrote your journal so well man. Hell of an inspiration.

Ruso, I think it will serve more as role models for new members. They will also know who to ask for advice. Plus, I think all the rebooted people deserve a lot. Deserve to be celebrities on this forum!

No because then the pride in doing all this overshadows the humbleness of it all. I agree on the part where this can help new members seek those who have gone beyond 90 days though.

As the creator of this thread, I'd like to point out a few things:

When did I spoke about hierarchies? Note that I used the word "teachers" between quotes, because yes, I believe there are people who have been more helpful than others and it's a shame that their insights get lost in the jungle of threads. For example, I wouldn't have even heard about Captain B. if someone wouldn't have mentioned it here.

Sometimes I refered to the guy that created the blog http://nofapsolideo.wordpress.com/ as my own "teacher", because I took his method and adapted to my own life.

You don't like the word "teacher"? You don't feel comfortable with the adjective "successful"? Fine. But I personally still need to keep reading su******ul stories from people who overcome this. I still need motivation to go on.

In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with highlighting a few successful nofappers as a starting point for newbies or struggling Fapstronauts so they/we can read there stories for inspiration.
