Yep, PMO'ing to relieve stress does nothing to improve the situation you are stressing about, not to mention leaving you feeling crappy for compromising yourself. A better way to handle stress is come up with a plan to resolve the stressful situation. Then break the plan down into small steps that you can confront. Then take the first of those steps, with the intention of doing something every day towards resolving the situation. That can actually leave you feeling a lot better.
Starting Day 5. Tempted yesterday but made it through. Was going to have time alone in the house but had a guest come by. I’m grateful for that. Stay strong everyone.
Day 27 is complete, only 3 days left! Even tho Im feeling pretty down and lazy this week, im still hella energetic and there's still a feeling a positivity inside even in my worse days
I had a painful urge that lasted lots and lots of hours I couldn't resist it anymore, I tried focusing on other stuff but I couldn't anymore and I relapsed.
Day 4 Today was much better than yesterday was. I stayed off Instagram and focused on the work in front of me. I also set up a few short and enjoyable (but productive) activities I could do if I am faced with an urge; I feel more prepared and motivated already. Stay strong everyone!
