9 Days Off PMO

Discussion in 'Compulsive Sexual Behavior' started by Deleted Account, Mar 31, 2020.

  1. Hey guys, so it’s been about a month since I watched porn and I’m nine days off masturbating as well. If you haven’t read my previous posts, I am 17 and I used to crossdress and watch sissy/transwoman porn. I just wanted to give you guys an update on what I’m experiencing after 9 days. After 9 days, the urges to are starting to get stronger. They are particularly stronger when I am bored or alone. I have discovered that this recovery will take a ton of will power, as I need to resist the urges when I’m alone. I’ve also started identifying triggers that lead me to relapse, and stay away from those. Hope to hear from some of you.

Also, I’m looking for people I can talk to daily about this that have gone through or are going through the same thing as me.

Hey man, congrats on getting 9 days dude. The urges will get stronger because your brain is craving the dopamine rush from those fetishes. I know the feeling, I deal with a very similar fetish (sissy) and I know the longer I go without indulging it, the stronger they seem to get. But you need to remember to identify those thoughts as unhealthy, it's hard but you can do it bro. Feel free to message me if you like :)

I've started to come to NoFap everday now, before I go to sleep. I've been trying to quit porn for a really long time. I had managed to quit Porn and Masturbation for 3 Months but then I had an anxiety attack at some point (due to external triggers) and I relapsed. This happened last November. Since then I've relapsed many times. But I am still very hopefull. I know I am trying my best. Just like you, I am trying to notice all the triggers and tackle it. I've also tried (and have been successful to an extent) to develop general self - discipline. I would love to listen to your updates on your journey and share mine as well.

More power to you and I wish you (and me) all the best :)

PS: Congratulations on the 9 Days
I hope to get there soon :p

Congrats on 9 days away from M and a month from P. This is why I relapsed; the urges get stronger around day 7-14. The second week is by far the hardest. Your brain is craving the rush and dopamine you get from viewing TS/XD P. I noticed my urge to cross dress or look at women's clothing shops online increased drastically and I unfortunately relapsed. You must try to avoid the temptations by keeping busy and avoid your triggers (if you can identify those).

My triggers were Instagram and Pinterest, so I had to slowly eliminated those from my life or at least unfollow/unpin the fashion models I would follow. You have to realize these thoughts are P induced, they are not your natural sexual inclination. The problem is during states of addiction, curiosity seeps in to make you want more deviant or at least more taboo to your normal sexual tastes. It is very difficult yes, but you must not give up the fight. You must continue to embrace a life with P and M, and take it on head first.

A good start would be coming on here and talking to others, but don't get too deep into it reading other forum posts; it may trigger those unhealthy responses again. Are you a gamer? Take the chance to replace those dopamine hits with games temporarily. It's a better alternative to P and M, but you must find a better hobby to practice with. I hope it all works out for you

  5. Yeah, I’ve been talking to friends, playing video games and playing guitar to pass the time. I used to cross dress when I was young before I got into porn, but I think porn made the urges stronger. I stopped cross dressing over a year ago but I’m still trying to get rid of the transwoman urges.
