Yesterday was terrible day... I think I've put too much on me... Having 90 days nofap challenge plus I've added 12 days no alcohol challenge on top of that I was doing 36 hours fasting... I felt like a crap... My dopamine level went down to zero. So now I decide to do small steps. I did think of putting off coffee too but rather stick to most important things first. So will stick to 90 days nofap, 12 days no alco... An then once I feel stronger slowly will add some extras or little challenges.
Wish you all great day. It is hard... But we can do it regardless!!!

Well, if urges are good, I'm having an awesome day! :D Thinking about P or M almost every 10 minutes now. It's insane. But I'm saying 'no' every time. Feeding the right wolf.

    21 days complete

Today is my 2nd full day with no caffeine. I woke up feeling pretty tired and had some STRONG urges! It was tough, but I was able to recognize in that moment it was just my brain crying for some dopamine. It's really helpful when you can realize that although the urges make you FEEL like something is terribly wrong and you need to do something to correct it, you're actually fine.

This experience for me is further evidence that all my addictive behaviors are connected. Removing caffeine completely is causing dopamine dips that are triggering PORN cravings! I believe my brain is simply trying to regain that chemical balance and it knows porn will give me the quickest/highest fix.

So I'll say it again, be careful how much you try to change at once. I've carefully weaned my caffeine intake down while doing this nofap challenge and I can still feel the effects. I'm probably right on the edge of making this too hard for myself. The lesson? Be unwaveringly firm and clear on what you WILL and WON'T allow in your life (PMO? Alcohol? Caffeine? Scrolling? Streaming? Weed? Sugar?) but at the same time BE KIND to yourself as you transition out of those things. Take it slow and find ways to comfort yourself that aren't destructive. Today I let myself sleep a little extra and took a slow morning with herbal tea.

Do what you need to do to fulfill your daily responsibilities, but try not to expect too much productivity from yourself. When your body has energy and motivation, put that to good use on healthy and productive behaviors and projects. When you don't, let yourself rest as much as possible. Productivity will come later when you have a fully healthy brain and body. Be patient, we will get there if we stay the course!

Damn! But alright, this happens. Analyse what made you fall and adapt your strategy so it won't happen again. You've got this!

Being kind to yourself is great advice. One that I forget often. So thanks for the reminder!

    DAY 11/90 COMPLETED
There were some thoughts, but I remembered that it is the brains way of persuading me to do what was against my will, so I did not succumb to the persuasion.

Today I observed a tons of urges, but none of them were connected to a specific memory or fantasy that I wanted to see again or explore further, so I found it easy to ignore all of them. I find that my brain tends to connect the urges to recent memories of exciting material I've seen. If there isn't any recent memories to easily grasp like that, the urge is more abstract and easier to ignore. This is exactly why I must stray away entirely from any kind of peeking.

    Nearing three weeks...

I'm not flatlining but not going crazy with urges either.. Curious to see where this goes.

I agree it sounds like you may be asking too much of yourself. Willpower is limited for everyone. Which one of these challenges means the most to you?
