What symptoms do you get after relapsing?

    For me, I feel extremely weak and fatigued, my eyes feel like they've been rubbed together with sandpaper, I feel sick and out of it and can't think clearly. It usually takes 7 days for this to clear up.

    How about any of you guys?

    • My muscles ache
    • Sleep is less enjoyable
    • World becomes hazy
    • Food tastes bad
    • Sense of smell becomes repressed (might be what's making the food more bland)
    • Nausea
    • Sadness / Mopeyness / Hopelessness
    • Slight stinging sensation behind my balls for the first couple of days
    • Hair gets thinner
    • Facial skin gets oilier
    Good idea for a thread. Makes me wanna keep going!

    True M takes away beneficial nutrients from your body. Due to fatigue, being unmotivated or depressed you also don’t take care of your health and become less active.

    I enjoy music and hot shower much more than usual. That's few hours after relapse. But the next day I feel terrible and I'm basically a zombie for a day. Then I start to feel better.

    I don't know whether I just reached the "limit" or I got old over night but up until this past year I never noticed too many negative physical effects(plenty of mental ones though) after relapsing but now any relapse is taking a massive toll on my body. Pretty much all of the same symptoms mentioned above but a couple more include random hot flashes/sweating and sometimes throat pain. The extreme fatigue is the worst, all I want to do is sleep but it feels like my brain is so mashed that it can't shut off.

    Me too , if PMO has any benefits , sleep better can be .

    i die every time i relapse, a part of me suffers and dies, i would have built up so much good energy and thoughts over weeks of practice and staying clean

    all of that would vanish just because of a few seconds of pleasure, which is actually not even pleasure it is just torture appearing as pleasure, the devil in all of its glory

    i feel extremely tired after a few hours, an urge to kill myself and leave my body, a sense of disappointment and discontent, my sleep schedule gets destroyed, eyes start to itch and hurt, i get angry and upset at little things, i dont get even a little bit of happiness, sometimes to escape this misery i go on to more miserable Netflix/YouTube binge loops, makes me regret every decision that led up to the relapse, it is really the worst, i would rather shoot my leg than do a relapse ever again

    but at the same time, there is a great growth opportunity if you ignore these effects and just focus on building your baseline disciplines such as - positive self talk, working everyday, eating actual food and not just soft drinks and packaged things(nutrition), basic scheduling, fixing a sleep schedule etc.

    don't
    relapse guys, i guarantee and everyone else on this forum guarantees you will regret it
