    Hello guys!
Back after one year of staying away even from this platform.
So, as the title suggests, I had been 1 year PMO free. Life was feeling alright again and I started to have future plans, like marrying etc.
A month ago, I completed a full year of staying away from PMOing. My brain started to play games on me to start testing things. It first started with me MOing, and then things escalated real quick. My brain would tell me "hey, lets watch P and see if we can resist" ..... u know the whole drill. I went and watched a video. I could resist and was happy about it. One night one dude startled me out of nowhere with a Tiktok video; it was a video of a girl training almost naked. That triggered something within me and drove me to replase. The next day I binged and did the stupid thing 4 times.
Fast forward to 15 days ago, PAWS hit me real hard. At first, it was lite insomnia and it kept on getting worse to the point of no sleep after 5 days. Because of this, depression hit me real hard, suicidal thoughts, hopelessness, insecurities popping out of nowhere, anhedonia, all the vicious PAWS u can imagine.

Now, I have a question. Why did I get PAWS after one freaking year of hard mode? It wasn't a big relapse as far as I know. And the most worrying question of all is: is my brain that fked up now that even normal sex would drive me to experience PAWS again?
Yesterday, I saw a post about some guy who went PMO free until his flatline lifted after 8 months. He was able to get boners and sex again, but he never got rid of PAWS.
Has anyone here experienced PAWS and, after they lifted, he was able to have sex again with no problems? This is comming from a virgin who is worrying that any form of multiple future orgasming would result in PAWS hitting again.

Did I get you right? Five days without sleep after five times PMO after one year clean?

First off, congratulations on your streak! It's really hard to get this far and I believe no single relapse can just "delete" a year of a healthy lifestyle.
That said, what you described makes sense to me but what you are experiencing doesn't seem so much like PAWS. Imagine your brain has been rebooting for a year, replenishing its dopamine receptors and slowly getting rid of the desensitisation from PMO. And then one day, it gets hit by PMO dopamine bath four times out of nowhere. It's confused and more sensitive than you were used to a year ago - like if you showed hardcore P to a 14-year-old...
I have experienced similar symptoms after relapsing after about 120 days, although not as pronounced. You have just thrown yourself out of balance, I am sure you will get better in a week or two.
One thing I found really important is to not let the relapse destroy the lifestyle you have built over the reboot. If you started to work out, eat healthily or go out with friends more (you name it), DO NOT STOP. And if you didn't, start now ;) If you stick to your previous routine even if you don't feel like it, the consequences of the relapse will disappear before you even know it.

  8. i had PAWS symptoms after 8 months of nofap. White hairs after ejaculating six times in a 2 week span, and all the negative symptoms... I think any type of ejaculation whether sex or not would cause these symptoms for us

so this brings us to my question; Are our brains so fked up now that even normal sex would drive us to experience PAWS?

I don't think so. I could have sworn I've seen a NoFap recovery story where the person said that an orgasm didn't lead to the PAWS hangovers. I can't locate it though, not sure where I can find it. :-(

  13. I dont think i waited long enough. I would say prepare to go years, before trying to have sex. Focus on yourself in the meanwhile. Or simply make sure not to ejaculate when having sex... which is tough to do

I heard of a guy who cured his PAWS after 4 years of hardmode. You probably wont have to wait that long... but im planning on waiting a LONG time, and even when i do have sex, I ain't busting

I can't do a semen retention while having sex since I developed PE on PMO :/
    I bust within 1-2 minutes.

  15. Because 1 year may not be enough for your brain to completely heal. I know this stage you're talking about that your brain playing tricks on you to see it's not a big deal returning to your old days.
Give it a couple months or 1 more year to see where you stand.
