Day 4 I know what this feels like and it is normal to feel like this right now. But know this - you will fail at many things in life, but what counts is not giving up and trying again or trying something new. As for your parents - this is your life, not theirs - you ultimately have to choose what is best for you - and your first or second choice may not be it, but you will learn slowly what you like and what you don't like doing. I have a story of a friend that had a really pushy father in highschool, that chose the university and course for him to study - it was Electrical Engineering. That friend did not at all want this but started it anyway. He ended up working some bar jobs while at uni, which he enjoyed a lot. He started to slack in Uni and in the end he stopped going altogether. He continued working and actually made a carreer working at bars and reastaurants and is now a manager of a reastaurant in London. It took his father some time to accept it, but he did accept it that his son is old enough to make decisions for himself and to choose his life path whatever it may be. The same way your parents will understand some day. And if they don't - it is not your fault. Live your own life - not someone elses. Have a nice day everyone
Day 72 12 days without a drink Hoping to build a foundation for a better life Hopefully going to have goals, objectives, a strategy and a plan in order to fulfil these goals and objectives. The idea being that I will be too preoccupied to indulge in porn and alcohol. I hate feeling like a prisoner and that's exactly what porn and alcohol does to me
