Alarming Heart Palpitations After Masturbating

I am incredibly concerned.

The last few days have been problematic for my sexual health journey. I spent them constantly masturbating and giving into my worst vices, often three times per day. I honestly did not care to count how many times I did it today, but I would assume it was a total of four. Once I finished my last session, I immediately noticed that my heart was racing. Of course, your heart races every time you masturbate... but it was out of control. It has never happened to me before. I was not breathing heavy. I did not feel tired at all. I was just lying there, perfectly calm, as my heart beat so quickly that I could not keep up enough to even count the number of beats. This went on for about five minutes. It never really slowed down; in fact, I think there were points when it actually sped up despite my lack of motion.

After a little bit of confusion and nearly pissing my pants, I finally decided to stand up. It just stopped. I have no clue how the fuck that had any effect on what was happening, but that seemed to fix it? It really made me open my eyes. Here I was, thinking I was about to have a medical emergency while lying in bed with my pants around my ankles. I had to sit there and imagine what would happen if my mom found me like this, knowing that I masturbated myself into the hospital. The very idea of it makes me sick to the stomach.

Now, I am not saying that over-masturbation is the only or primary cause of this anomaly. I have spent the entirety of Easter and the following day eating candy, chocolates, and left-over desserts from a family gathering. That combined with a lack of exercise, healthy food, and water could be a huge reason why this happened. However, the fact that it happened immediately after climaxing is suspicious.

Honestly, this could be the best thing to ever happen to me, as it encouraged me to get myself together and hop on the forums after two weeks of constant relapsing. However, I want to make sure that my health is not compromised. I am no doctor, but if you have any medical advice or have experienced something similar... please let me know!

 

There's something to this for sure. I've had palpitations on and off for years and they are always more frequent at times of heavy PMO. You can find some resources online but only if you research the subject hard enough because everything legitimate is censored or banned nowadays. WebMD and other bullshit "medical" websites will all defend pornography and masturbation all day, everyday.

 

Why would you go there? Are you trying to make OP worry more or become a paranoid hypochondriac? Search 'heart palpitations' on this forum alone. There are hundreds of posts and mentions and that's just one source. He also stated clearly, based on his experience, that this seems to be directly correlated to PMO.
