Unfortunately relapsed yesterday! This was because the 'chaser effect' so to speak after getting intimate with my gf on Saturday. Yesterday, my urges were uncontrollable or I let them run wild. It seems that I need to teach my brain to differentiate between healthy and unhealthy sexual desires. I don't know whether taking a break from sex and concurrently doing nofap will rewire my brain. In any case, I talked to my gf and she suggested we don't have sex for the first four months of 2023 and see what happens. I agreed with her. Let's see what happens. 1/365- I have now become less scared of cold showers. Also taking a break from social media especially YouTube has allowed me to do a lot of reading and today I have decided that I will introduce meditation to my routine since I have freed up some time. 2/365- Completed my two week challenge of no YouTube! That was very hard to be honest! But I think I am going to extend the challenge for another 16 days to make it 30. Honestly, I can't really see what value YouTube is adding to my life at the moment. 99% of what I watch is garbage and not educational. And the algorithm doesn't help me either. So let me stay away for now until I can decide how to use YouTube in a beneficial way to improve my life and education.
