Great work @Karom sounds like YouTube is a major trigger for you so you need to slowly but surely eradicate it out of daily routine especially at night in bed.
Thanks for the encouragement! Yes, YouTube for me is what I would call an indirect trigger. It is not that the content I watch is of a sexual nature. It is the fact that YouTube puts me in a sort of trance when I binge-watch. I noticed that every time I watched YouTube for an hour or so at night I would mindlessly transition to porn tube sites. It is crazy how my mind had mapped that sort of pattern that it became unconscious because both porn and YouTube are an escape from reality for me. It is only after some introspection that I was able to discover the connection.
Just found this thread lol Day 1/365 starting today Limited social media, video games and phone usage.
It's true that when we watch too much internet, youtube, TV or too much gaming we become in a sort of trance, zombie-type mindset and our weapons of defense against PMO is weakened. It's really important that we always stay IN A FULL STATE OF AWARENESS! The enemy is waiting for us to lose that awareness and strike against us when we're we're weakened, that's how we get victimized by this porn addiction. We are responsible to what we feed our brains with. Stay alert at all times people, the media are trying to feed us with information to control our brain, we have to choose what we want to listen.
4/365- Today I have had very strong urges. The reason is that I am anxious about the new year and what the future holds for me. I don't want to think about it and therefore my mind needs to escape. But I will not allow it.
