Well done on the positive works at the Gym. I like the feeling after a good gym session, especially in the morning if I can and it sets the tone for the rest of the day. As for your wife and mom, its hard for sure to navigate as you would care for each of them and loving them as best you can is the best way.
Checking in and going ok at the moment. Preparing for a trip to another country next week, and my body is already giving me signs it remembers the dangers of hotel rooms and porn. Preparing to stay busy.
I am discovering that denial plays a strong part in my road to recovery. I’m finding that I’m downplaying how often I succumb to PMO, and blocking out the last time it happened. So now I am embarking on a process of daily journals, and my internal checklist of what I’m doing to fortify myself or sabotage myself and it’s revealing I have a deep seated mindset of denial that I must face before I can have any true long-standing progress. I thought I’d write this while it was fresh on my mind.
Right now I think I'm in the progress of forgetting that porn is even a thing. Every time I see a trigger it comes back to me momentarily, but otherwise I just don't think about it. I think this is a good way to be long term, so if it works, I might as well start now. All I need now is to get to 180 days, (so I can make sure) and then I can give up my spot to someone who needs it more than me.
Day 18 checking in. I've been busy recently so not been catching up on here as much, but its also helped with my urges. Hopefully can keep this up!

Thanks for your honesty - It looks that its easy to drop your guard as time goes by with a streak, and thats when the weakness creeps in. As I look at the struggles of all the great people here, I hoping to learn how I can start changing from the inside out, as opposed to just learning how to disclipline myself more. Im only on day 8, so alot to learn

Hi, I’m viewing and thinking about your checking in process. Not only are you recording your days clean but recording the work out day? I could probably try to get out of the previous forums, but are you referring to recording going to the gym, swimming, exercise in some form? Or if so, it looks like you are testing the science about the benefits of exercise and the benefits of the endorphin rush to fortify you?
