[90-CHALLENGE] THE NINETY DAYS CHALLENGE !

Hey guys! I am leaving NoFap. I have been thinking about this for more than a month now. NoFap has been a great help to me. Without NoFap I would not have been able to begin my journey of recovery. Without NoFap, I would not even know what the root cause of my problems is. I have been encouraged and gotten great support from the people on this forum and without them, I would not bounce back from the myriads of relapses I have experienced. I think it has served its purpose for me. It is time to let go of my 'porn identity'.

I want to stop focusing on not watching porn. I think the correct approach for me now is to get clear that porn is no longer a part of my life as the late Gary Wilson put it. I want to stop obsessing about what day I am on, writing about my misery in my journal, and hanging out too much on this forum. This is because it is a constant reminder that I am a porn addict and it makes me feel like I will never get cured. I want to focus on what really matters in my life. My career, my relationships, my spirituality, developing my character, my health and so on. Obsessing about recovery has put my life on pause literally. Therefore, I think the first step for me is to 'forget' about porn and battling urges. I am tired of the inner battle within myself of two or more opposing forces. I want to integrate all my so-called 'broken parts' and be whole.

I want to thank all of you for your encouragement and support. I wish everyone all the best in their journey! I hope that all of us will overcome this addiction and live the lives that we envision for ourselves.
