Thinking that I have ''free-will'' is making be more easy to resist the urges to watch porn. Do you feel the same? I don't know if free-will exists or not (according to neuroscience no), but thinking that have turn things more eazy for me. This mindset makes me feel more in control of myself.
I believe there is free will. No, I'm sure of it. There is free will somewhere hidden under that PMO trash that is/was my mind and head. We are not what addictions make us be. We are far better than that
I'd say a belief in free will is definitely a prerequisite to success. After all, if you're a hard determinist, then you're just along for the ride. You might as well indulge in every urge because you bear no responsibility.
