A day left to go! Man, I really thought today would be a busy day. Turns out, it wasn't. I expected I would spend a lot of time making my study plan for the uni entrance exam. Instead, I only spent an hour or so to get it done. After that, I just watched Netflix for 2 hours. Nothing much really happened except for the fact that I added lots of new habits and dailies into habitica. Oh, I did buy a new book to read in 2024. I bought "Rich Dad, Poor Dad". I figured that it would be bothersome if I'm financially blind by the time I get into uni. For the NoFap part, I listed my major triggers and wrote down a prevention system to each trigger. I'm gonna update my habitica again to make sure I read it every morning. No major urge happened. No fantasies. Nothing. To sum up, today was 9/10 due to the boredom. I didn't know what to do to fill the time. Anyway, I'll see you lot tomorrow! KEEP FIGHTING BROTHERS!
Day 0. One 39-day streak followed by an 8 day streak. That chaser was hard to resist and, while I didn't M, I P'd. Just keep on going.
Quest completed WOOHOO! I have conquered the 3 days challenge. Congrats to you too bro! @Jason Bourne 2007 Well, I woke up feeling sleepy and tired. I think this is another withdrawal symptom, but that's not the only one that bothered me. I realised I have far too many triggers. One of which was downloading an android app. It didn't make much sense to me how that action triggered my brain to open the hub. Then, I realised it's similar to downloading my favourite app to ruin my life, chrome. Both are apps and they have the same animation when being downloaded. Interesting. Thankfully, I "ran" away when I felt the urge would grew stronger If I stayed. I kept myself away from all electronic devices—including my phone—and just took a nap. Come to think of it, I did waste a lot of time just sleeping when I wasn't supposed to. However, it was worth it considering the fact that rebooting is our—addicts—top priority. So, yeah, another day without PMO. After this, I'm going to update my triggers list again just to make sure I don't fall for the same trap. Other than that, I just studied and watched some anime. To close, today was 8/10 for the unexpected trigger. Well, because my first quest is complete, let's move on the the next one, shall we?
Thanks @Cocoa_Deluxe_Xtra_Sugar ! I see you are finding solutions proactively. However, triggers in itself are not a bad thing if not acted upon it. If you are In control they can serve as a practicing tool for your pre-frontal cortex.
