Sad to see them go and i wish them all the best as well. I understand what they are going through, this experience is no walk in the park, f*cking brutal bro.

It hits hard on them because of the time they are in reboot. 4+ years and still in PAWS, though I think they'll heal soon. What keeps us going through this is hope and the shared experience we have here because we are going through the same thing.

The flatline I posted were short compared to the time they've been rebooting, so I'm gonna post a long flatline them to give hope to the long rebooters.

What happened? Why did they leave?

  3. Yeah sadly, this PAWS thing could really get the best of a man.
Better stay strong and fight through it.

We better stay positive and share hope!
The future generations will look at us as their Heroes - those that went through Hellish PAWS and survived and healed to tell the tell.

Keep on fighting! Never give up.
This will be our final battle against Pr0n Addiction.

I have not seen a PAWS that holds for more than 5 years. Not relapsing or taking those relapses to a minimum.

I know is tough, but as Mr.Tony says "We are doing this for us but also for the future generation that comes after us". God knows the level of stimulation you are going to get in the future.

PAWS is brutal but we have seen lots of success stories as well.

This one took 4 years to heal.

  5. The healing will happen eventually, it's just how long can you endure it. It can't go like that for ever.

Time and a complete abstinence are the key!

  6. Hello guys, How was your day today ?

    Hope you all doing good.

So after this happened, i took some time and analysed how i was feeling after this and what was the state of my head, trying to figure out how recovery has been affected.

For the next 3 days i felt extreme fatigue and slept all day long and still felt tired. After these 3 days the fatigue lifted and after that, surprisingly, I don't feel the constant paws symptoms i used to feel like anhedonia, trouble forming thoughts and speaking, pressure in my head, brain fog, dopamine sensitivity, constant depression, tiredness, fatigue etc. I'm able to speak freely, gave a few presentations as well in the last couple of days without any problem whatsoever, something that i struggled with when i experienced PAWS symptoms. The only symptoms that i feel at present are non existent libido, numbness, IBS and mild insomnia.

But this makes me a bit worried, because i was experiencing all these PAWS symptoms before this accidental O happened. What i conclude from this is, maybe this O pushed me out of recovery mode. How i see recovery is, after you start abstaining, your brain goes into recovery mode, like a caterpillar going into a coccune. That is that state when all the PAWS symptoms hit, thus experiencing PAWS symptoms means that you're brain is constantly recovering. And now because of this O, i feel like I've disturbed the brain and it is out of that recovery state like a caterpillar coming out of the coccune, before it even transformed into a butterfly. I think I've hindered the process mid way and thus, the lack of symptoms that I'm feeling right is just the calm before the storm, and PAWS symptoms will return once the brain goes into recovery mode again, that's when ill feel the symptoms again and that's when the recovery will continue to happen.

@mentorr in one of his posts had best described what recovery is like. It's like climbing a mountain, the higher you go, lesser the oxygen will be. But there will be a decline in the overall intensity of symptoms. And eventually you'll reach the peak. So i feel, if you're experiencing PAWS symptoms, celebrate it, because that's a sign of the brain recalibrating itself, trying to recover. Be comfortable with being uncomfortable and just keep going.

In my opinion I think everyone does go through some sort of withdrawal at one point. They may call it different things. I really believe it does cause drug like withdrawals. Just my take though.

More than possible. Being sociable in collage might be difficult but self studies is definitely possible.

  12. Education requires two things:

    Cognitive Function and Memory

The problem with this is that both part have been heavily damaged and require time to heal.

But it's possible to learn but it will require some effort, one of the tricks to use is this:

Try to read the subject at multiple times over and over and if it requires cognitive function try answer the same exercice multiple time.

When it comes to memory try to rely on Imagination:

Use the mind map and try to imagine the topic at hand, or you could start a conversation about it with a friend - that way you will memories key concepts.

Try your best, but even if it's hard - remember you're still healing and that does not define you and what you are capable of!

    Good Luck Ammar.

I don't know why but I have been the topper of my collage whilst being a PMO addict and experiencing heavy symptoms. Still my learning abilities are fine.

  14. I had the opposite result - I was brain fogged for all the years that I've been there including high school.

My memory was non existant and my cognitive too.

Just recently I'm starting to feel a little better compared to these old days.

I don't know but this addiction have different effects on us maybe because our brains are different in the first place.

You must be super smart then. It's like impossible for me to even do easy things in paws. But it could be because most of my journey was soft mode.

I never attended collage in those years. It was all self studies. I couldn't attend collage because of anxiety.

Bro I can barely read this forum while on PAWS. If anyone here can go to Uny and function like a proper human being you have my admiration. Because I can't do any mental effort at the moment. Can't read or comprehend content.
