Hey guys I've realized porn has made all of us objectify woman and has made us look at them like a different form of alien species , but also I've noticed when you start seeing woman for what they really are we tend to put them on a pedestal which in my opinion is still pretty harmful . I say the perfect way to go about dating is to make sure you keep her equal to you. Don't get me wrong you can still value her ,love her ,and be the gentleman she needs but make sure you see her as an equal not a fucking god. I say this because when you do put them on a pedestal it can come with a lot of mental baggage like not knowing if you'll b good enough for her, confidence starts dropping , or even maybe anxiety in the bedroom because you think she's too good for you.. all I'm trying to say is be vigilant fellas. Especially nowadays the way woman expect every guy to lick the back of there heel. I see too many guys getting played because they put the pussy on the pedestal . What do you guys think about this?
Definitely. It's one of the primary and most importat thing of becoming a man - to not be dependent on woman, to neither objectify nor see woman as a godlike but like a human being. You can't build healthy relationship if you are dependent, objectifying or worshipping this second person. Therefore there are other things connected - man should have time in his life where he can cultivate the art of solitude - many of us know how being alone is difficult but you can train yourself to be alone instead of grasping to any woman that are interested in you. And being taught to be alone will give you independence on other people in your life. The other thing is that you should cut yourself ( mentally and/or physically also like going to live in other flat/city) from you mother. For thousand of years rites of passage were practiced to cut-off a boy from mommy ( or rather Feminine aspect that mother represents) to make him grow, give him wisdom and skills and welcome him as a MAN in adulthood. Nowadays we know what it's like - boy is being ubpringed by mother, never cut off from her, father is absent and there is no other man who could show a boy what it's mean to be a man - there is no one to give a Masculine power to young man ( and what it means to be a man is the other subject that is bit controversial and unclear nowadays as the old patterns faded away ad the new ones are still undeveloped). p.s. Yeah, women (not all) are really weird these days. I was actually thinking about this, but they have to deal with equally weird men out there I guess. But their attitude of turning down handsome guys for their ego's, mind games, making you behave in their own norms and what they believe is acceptable, and all that is a no go with me.
