I'll say that it depends on the situation. If you put a time limit on it like 45 minutes then once 45 minutes is up you stop. Maybe the last 5-10 minutes you please your partner and make sure they are satisfied so you have an ending to go on then simply getting up and saying "alright time is up." Now I say this because some like me are desensitized in their penis, so trying to reach O will be very very difficult and you'll be going at it for hours or so. Also I characterize edging with masturbating. Simply edging to continue watching porn, which is what people are trying to stop. If it's during sex, especially to last a bit longer for your partner, then I think it's fine. I only say this because you aren't with your hand, but you are with an actual person.
