Checking In. Day -128 Workout Day - 3. I am regaining my motivation second time in this streak. Brain fog has become less. I am planning my tasks for the day in advance automatically.
3 days haven't had a streak like this since i can't remember when (since this streak started on 3-16) p.s. he's drinking the finest organic grape juice from those cans (at least that's how I'd like to celebrate)
My support system went out of town a week ago and I've folded. I gotta keep the NoFap app on my home screen, haha. Not sure if this is off-topic, but does SAA help you?
I have never been to SAA but I did quite a lot in another S fellowship. I also did a few years in a couple of non S related fellowships. Even though I no longer attend meetings ( Though I will probably go and check out SAA myself as I think I will need something for the long term). My recovery today is based on the principles of 12 step. I would not be where I am today without it.
Checking in - been a rough week but gotten through. I sometimes feel like I am under attack and my defenses drop easily which is scary. You can build up a range of defenses over time, but it doesn't take long for many of them to disappear in the wrong circumstances.
Therapy and irl accountability groups have been helpful for me. Take care to find a therapist who specializes in P addiction.
Still feeling stable. Joined a coaching-based program to help me deal with urges. Just starting out, but seems Ok so far. I literally need all the help I can get. This week: 2 days meditation 1 day exercise
You should try it, it really helps. I do a long hot shower, then finish off the last few minutes with cold water.
