A New Challenge (30 days+?)

Discussion in 'Rebooting - Porn Addiction Recovery' started by Deleted Account, Jun 3, 2020.

  1. Hi guys

I have been able in the past to achieve 30 days off PMO (did it 3 times). Once in a while a week or two off. I just came back from my parents' to my place for studies. I live alone, it's gonna be harder than living with my family but I'll try. Hard.

I'm on day 0. I can't fail. These are urges, just my addiction speaking so I shall fight every time!! This is my 30 days challenge, here I come.

  3. Day 1

It was hard to get to work - I do cinema/video editing. I felt ok the whole day. Before dinner I played tennis and had and spent energy, that felt good. Hoping to go to bed easily and complete my day one.

  4. Day 2

I worked well. Woke up fine, had breakfast which helped focus and have no urge for food or PMO. I ate some huge wrap and fries in the evening, which had me struggling digest, and kinda went to bed late because of it. But had no urges whatsoever.
I dreamt a lot. There was this one with a girl I was doing pre with, but for some reason we stopped there and she wouldn't do it anymore. That's got something to do with Nofap...
Woke up around 10 to 11 am this Saturday. Day two completed.

  5. Day 3

This one was hard. Went to play tennis before lunch and listened to a lot of music the afternoon. Then in the evening I had pizza - and I think that caused my urges (fatty food does that to me). Watched two movies till 5a.m. and meditated, helping me push the urges. I'm glad I made it. KEEP STRONG PEOPLE! Day three completed.

  6. Day 4

Hard day too. Watched three films and again that helped lol. I had too much energy from eating shitty food - which if think turned into urges - so I went running 7km and that was very good for me. I should always eat light or spend.
Also for a couple days I can't make meditation last more than 30 seconds... Day four completed.

  7. Day 5

Since I pushed urges during days 3 and 4, it got easier. I ran an errand and I bought veggies, fruits and meat - and also mineral water. This should generally help me to get some good sleep. Though I didn't really sleep well. Watched yet again another movie - this time Lost Highway, which 30mn in I couldn't continue because it was creeping the shit out of me. Eventually finished it and felt weird afterwards. It was an interesting experience. Then I went on internet and checked other posts here. I might have HOCD btw?
Went to bed at around 5a.m. with no urges whatsoever. Day five completed.

  9. Day 6

Good! No urges. I didn't work though lol. But feeling not so bad. Played tennis which ended at 10p.m. That was fun and fatigued me, I think it made me go to bed at around 2a.m. but got out of bed at around 1p.m. heh. I'm gonna keep going.
Feel free to post here! Day six completed

  11. Day 7

So again kinda easy. Woke up late... Imma cut sugar cause it worsens my sleep and makes me tired at any moment of the day. It's wack really. No urges, or just very light ones that I was able to annihilate since I'm stronger with Day 3 & 4.
To be continued. Day seven completed.

  12. Day 8

Soooooo. Had a good day. I went to party at night - for the first time in a loooong time (COVID). Saw many friends and it was just great. I already had benefits from the eight days off PMO. I could make people laugh a lot of times, they would look at me with love and respect. I didn't feel any anxiety or embarrassment. I drank quiet a bit (baileys, rhum, wine, beer - a bit of each) and stopped like one hour before going home. When I got home I drank a lot water and ate a lime which helped not having hangover therefore no urges. I woke up at 10a.m. then fell back asleep till 2p.m. lol. Not very interesting... But I feel ok. Going to party was taking a risk but I didn't drink too much, and drunk a lot of water before sleep. I should always do that.
Feeling good. It would be the worst time to give up. Day eight completed.

  14. Day 9

So. I didn't have like a hangover - however I was a bit weak physically and mentally but luckily no urges came. But I couldn't sleep last night. The fact that I woke up at 2p.m. after drinking alcohol f***d me up. I didn't sleep. It's Saturday, 1p.m. and I have been awake for almost a whole day, my heart is skipping beats. I feel unhealthy... I'm not experiencing urges or relapse but I'm not good. Hopefully I can take a nap and get some sleep tonight. I think the reason I had insomnia is also that I ate at midnight 80g of 85% dark chocolate which is filled with A LOT of caffeine. Imma never do this again.
    Day nine completed.

  15. Day 10

That was some harsh day. Didn't sleep a single minute, went to an appointment at 11a.m. then hairdresser at 3p.m. then tennis with a friend on 3 sets (!!) then a friend went by the evening for pizza. I was worn and went to bed at 11p.m. I slept some good 10 hours of sleep. I'm very glad that I did because I can know continue this path the right way - physically healthy. No urges whatsoever. Day ten completed.

  16. Day 11

Another useless day. No urges. A weird sexual dream that night but I'm alright. Imma fight it.
    Day eleven completed.

  17. Day 12

I see this as depression days - or flatline. I don't really have a point, an objective everyday so I'm lost, confused and depressed. Urges haven't been there in a while but I haven't been happy in a while... I just woke up at 8:30a.m. which is my new alarm set. I'm gonna try keeping that. I already feel good inside waking up early and taking time for myself. That's one of the three things about NOFAP I've been forgetting these days that's sooo important - Food, Activity & Sleep.
    Day twelve completed.

  18. Day 13

Waking up early is the real treat. Waking up at 8:30a.m. currently. I feel good. Again, no urges for quiet a time. I have improved my diet a lot and drink a lot of (good!) water now. My goal is to write and direct and I'll get there. I just don't feel very creative lately but I'll work on it. I haven't had sexual thoughts for pretty much ten days and I fantasize on the 'being a couple' thing and just on the beauty of women. I feel like the rewiring is happening.
    Day thirteen completed.

  19. Day 14

Great day. Getting on good diet and scheduling my sleep have improved my mental and physical condition a lot. And I have had no urges, nothing could stop me. Short night though (bloody mosquitos).
    Day fourteen completed.

  20. Day 15

Another great day. I've been building up my hi-fi system and it's almost done. This has helped driving my attention off PMO. Another short night... I'll have to reschedule my sleep.
    Day fifteen completed.
