A way to deal with horniness, works for me.

    1. clench your PC muscle, or perineum, as if you're trying to stop peeing.
    2. clench your sphincter muscle as if you're trying stop stop a bowel movement.
    3. repeat this over and over for 5 minutes.
    4. then visualise/feel/know that a ball of energy is going round the inside of your head 36 time one way, then 36 times the other way.
    5. put your tongue on the roof of your mouth for a few seconds.

    Doing this you are taking your sexual energy from the sex organs, up to the brain, and then down into the area just below the navel, or as the chinese call it the 'dan tien' where all your vital energy is stored.

    also you can do slow deep breathing, counting each in and out breath until you get to 100.

    You could also try the 'Sat Kriya' a kundalini yoga exercise that is very effective in redirecting your sexual energy. have a look for it on www.anmolmehta.com

    Hi Guys, thanks for your posts, well, I think the sat kriya is very good, but I don't do that very often, as I do the stuff I've posted on this thread.

    You could try 'the five tibetan rites',(not specifically to do with NoFap though). have a look on youtube. The tibetans developed 5 simple exercises over 1000s of years, to help them cope with the altitude, and build up stamina and endurance etc, the exercises activate the chakras.

    You could maybe have a look at Mantak chias website.download 'taoist secrets of love cultivating male sexual energy pdf. Of course there's the breath technique I posted about on here too.

    Of course there is Chi kung too, I do Zhan Zhaung (pronounced Jan Jong) every day, that's very good for grounding sexual energy. www.lamassociation.org

    Cheers for that, Tibetan 5 rites are good and after a while the 6th could be introduced which is specifically for sexual energy transmutation. I remember my Aikido teacher asking me to get a book for him from amazon (he didn't do technology! ) and I'd been wishing I could remember what it was and your post mentions mantak chias which jogged my memory so will be downloading that. Also I've been wanting to do Chi Kung since I stopped years of Aikido training due to bad back/knees and I will llook into that style you mentioned. Cheers for all this, all good stuff:)

    Hi, Yeah, I remember now there is a 6th Tibetan rite, i will start that one day.I went to an Aikido demo once, I found it a bit too formal for me, and all that sitting on your feet!

    The chi kung I do is the foundation practice for a martial art called da chen chuang, which means 'the great accomplishment', so named by onlookers, it is very powerful! I've seen one or two demonstrations.

    I thought I'd share with you my daily routine, as you are interested in energy work generally.

    I do the sodarshan chakra kriya (it's on the anmolmehta site I gave you) daily from between 10 minutes to 2.5 hours, I have done it for 3 years now, building up from 3 minutes which is difficult enough to start with, the results are brilliant, it gradually erases all your negativity, fear etc in your subconscious.

    2-3 times a week, hara breathing which is:- lie down, feet together, hands by sides, breath yogically for 4 minutes.
    then breath into your dan tien, 3 fingers width below your navel, .I always scratch it with a finger to help me focus on it, do this for 4 mins.
    then put both hands over it and inhale into it for a count of 5, imagine a ball filling up with energy about an inch or so below that point with your tongue on the roof of your mouth, hold for a count of 5, then exhale with tongue off roof of mouth for a count of 5. do this for 20 minutes.

    This will enhance your intuition, and strengthen the connection with your other bodies, also try and imagine you are thinking from your hara while you are doing the exercise. it enables your thoughts not to be from your ego, and it does bring up stuff as well, which is why I have done it on and off over the years.Also it deepens your voice a bit too.

    5 tibetans.

    meditation at least 5 mins, opening chakras, 8th chakra meditation - focus on your heart chakra, breathing in and creating a ball of energy, when it's like a ball about 6 inches in diameter, raise it up to your alter minor chakra I think it's called, then inhale another ball of energy, then drop thi ball down to your solar plexus chakra, do the same, and bring that bal up to the point between your heart and throat, this is where your 8th chakra is, the portal to your transpersonal chakras, imagine a beam of light going from this to the sky, and another beam of energy going from the 8th chakra down into the earth, now you are connected to the heaven and earth. sit and be still for a while and see what insights etc you get, it may be later on you get something.

    Har meditation (for energy ,prosperity, and elimination of fear) and the eagle pose (strengthens aura) both on the anmolmehta site.

    I also do celestial nei kung www.spirittao.com this is also very powerful, I haven't done as much recently with the withdrawals I've had with the nofap.

    I do other stuff now and then too, but this is my main routine.Cheers

    Cheers for that, sounds like a great routine. Has been a tough year with this and that but I'm still going strong and am ready to get back on track with this sort of thing.

    Yes Aikido can be a bit formal but I came from a very un-disciplined background (music/bands/drink/drugs etc) and I needed something to focus me, which it did, mostly in a gentle way but occasionally to within an inch of my life! (which did me good;)) And yes it was all that sitting on your feet that did it for me in the end but I miss it as we had a good teacher who was all about energy etc and I would love to do chi Kung now, especially at my time in life.
