Abracadabra - from the Hebrew, “Ebrah k Dabri,” meaning “I create what I speak.”
What if what we speak externally and INTERNALLY creates our experience of life, of what shows up in our lives?

What if there is a mantra called “abracadabra” that simultaneously transmutes sexual energy and strengthens the immune system? Would that be too good to be true?

I've done about a 30 minute stretch. Because I often get tension headaches from trying too hard I find it helps if I slowly build things up.

"Ebrah K Dabri." (Abracadabra) "I create what I speak."

"The circumstances and conditions of life are outpictured inner talking, solidified sound. Inner speech calls events into existence." Neville Goddard.

So, try to notice what you are saying to yourself, now and all day long. Does your inner speech match the desires of your heart ?

    “I create what I speak.”

Language samadhi (samadhi: total absorption, stillness of mind).

“When we keep a single word or phrase in our mind for a certain amount of time, without being mixed with other thoughts, it infiltrates every part of the brain. This produces a wonderful effect. When the time comes, this effect will burst into consciousness and occupy the center of our attention. So-called inspiration is an example of this happening. It doesn’t come from outside but is the product of a fermented thought.” Katsuki Sekida

Abracadabra, "I create what I speak."

If you are saying to yourself, with feeling, words such as "I am a porn addict," "I am shameful," "I am hopeless," "I am pathetic," etc. over and over again everyday then might this be contributing to, or even forming and keeping firmly in place your present reality ? Are you happy with that reality ? Of course not !
So, what to do ? How about saying to yourself in your imagination, with feeling, ESPECIALLY when the negative inner talking happens, day in and day out, "I am free of the urge to pmo," "I am strong," "I express sexual energy in an unselfish, loving way,"etc ?

"Let the weak say I AM strong." Joel 3:10

    Ebrah K Dabri - I create what I speak.

A human has upwards of 40 000 thoughts a day. What if most of those thoughts are negative? And thoughts are always accompanied by feelings, no matter how faint. So, what are you feeling, and what are you thinking about yourself, others, and life in general? I bet most of it is negative. Is it any wonder you are not happy? And what if those feelings and thoughts are not true? If we start to change our inner talking then could it lead us to a better place? Why not find out?

“Every moment must be invested, and our inner talking (mental conversations with ourselves) reveals whether we are spending or investing.” Neville Goddard

Spending = Inner speech opposed to your ideals
Investing = Inner speech matched to your ideals

I think I disagree with the definitions of spending and investing you have above.

Investing, by nature, is putting something away in order for future gain. Spending occurs when the investment has run its course, unless reinvestment occurs. Reinvestment is not a fundamentally bad concept, however perpetual investment leads to what? At the end of the road, when the chickens return home to roost there will be 'spending'. It is therefore incorrect to define spending as opposed to ideals, as ideals are not fixated among an extended demographic of people. Pretending so is false, and creates a false perception of success if one is not 'investing'. Everything is subject to the Cost-Benefit Analysis. I repeat myself here, but investing for what purpose? You're investing for future spending power.

Thanks for your thoughts. I think what Mr. Goddard was writing about was spending and investing regarding your personal ideals. I’ll quote some more, “It is about the transformation of the moment. What we desire does not lie in the future but in ourselves at this very moment. It is only what is done now that counts. The present moment doesn’t recede into the past. It advances into the future to confront us, spent or invested.”
If you want to get more of a sense of what I’ve been quoting then you could take a look at Mr. Goddard’’s book ‘Awakened Imagination’ and the chapter‘The Coin of Heaven.’ (free to read online). I don’t pretend to fully understand what he said. To say it’s challenging is an understatement!

Thanks for the reply! I do agree with what this post of yours, however. In a short summary, its about living in the moment which I fully agree with. I think this Mr. Goddard could use better phrasing than spending and investing, but I will add that book to a list of mine! Thank you.

    1. “When your not paying attention (to your external and internal environment) you’re asleep.”
    2. “What you’re after when you go into any (compulsive) behavior is more life.”
When we are awake and paying attention we experience more life than when we’re lost in thoughts/feelings/fantasy. If we experience more life then there will be less of a need to indulge in behaviors that give us the illusion of more life.

Quotes 1&2 were from Bob Gardener on his ‘Alive&Free’ podcast. Let’s make paying attention our daily practice!

When I work on inner talking and switch the mental conversations that oppose my ideals to those that match my ideals, I often encounter strong doubts and a kind of compressed anxiety.
So, how can I deal with these emotions and begin to develop faith in the power of inner talking, prayer etc. to bring about the changes I wish to see appear in my life?
I’ve found that working on the transmutation of negative emotions is a big step in the right direction. When we are identified with negative states then these block higher states from embodying themselves. For those who wish to explore the transmutation work and turn it into a living practice I suggest you go to scottjeffrey.com and search for “repressed emotions.”

“A mind that is prone to distraction easily succumbs to the whims of the ego.”

“We cannot abandon the moment to negative inner talking and expect to retain command of life.”

From the above two statements we can start to see the connection between meditation and the internal conversations we hold with ourselves day in and day out.

Ideal: a standard of perfection, beauty, or excellence.

“When you feel a sexual impulse, try concentrating on your ideal, and then this impulse of energy will go up to feed your brain. Instead of directing all your energies to towards pleasure direct them to a sublime ideal.
You have a powerful associate within to whom you send sexual energy, and he,with his alchemical knowledge, will be able to change it into health, beauty, and divine love. This associate is your high ideal. It is a fundamental idea which you live with everyday, which you cherish and feed, and it, not you, will transform the sexual energy.”
