To my understanding flatlining is good and it’s a sign of healing, will having sex stop a flatline? I don’t want to interfere with flatlining. And I was also wondering if multiple flatlines happen? If multiple flatlines happen how will I know when we’ve come to a full reboot?

Well, It's a good question. I'd say maybe but i won't force myself if it's not working . I think the best option is to avoid sex when flatlining , It's not healthy to have sex with a semi-erection without any sensation in the dick. I find it helpful for me. but the path to recovery is so individual and one thing might work for me but not for you. I think you should give it a go though. Again, do not force yourself if it's not working. It's all good.
and Yes, Multiple flatlines may occur. I honestly think there's no such a thing a full reboot. it's a way of life.

Well its my partner who has the problem now and this post is for him, BUT I can tell you that I had my own problem a few months ago. I was addicted to masturbation and kind of porn. Now I can’t tell you if I got any of the typical flatline symptoms such as low energy, irritability, etc because I already had all of that from depression (due to low dopamine). But just like you boys I felt intense compulsive urges to do either and relapsed a couple times until I was finally able to stop. I think that PMO addiction affects girls differently, we get intense urges too, but I think we get lesser side effects considering that withdrawals didn’t add any new symptoms to my depression. I’ve never seen a girl struggle with anything aside from the compulsive urges.
